my "surprises" in the 2006 draft

i think shawne williams will go in the top 20 - late 1st, but he has the chance to become a great player. he has all the tools to become great: athleticism, excellent offensive game, good length, and CONFIDENCE/AGRESSION (something you cant teach)

i think dee brown will go in the mid 2nd round, but he also has a chance to become great. he is THE QUICKEST PLAYER in the draft, excellent passer, good poise when there is pressure, and can get into the paint whenever he wants.

i think shannon brown will go in the late 1st round and he has a chance to become great. he is the best passing 2 guard in the draft and does EVERYTHING else extremely well (except block shots lol).


these are just a few very talented players that wont be in the lottery. theres always a very good player somewhere in the late 1st round or in the 2nd round in each draft

hopefully shawne williams falls to lakers and becomes the next josh howard!

I think B. Jones will be a value in the second round.

Same for Hassan Adams and James White.

lets stop talking about dee brown, i think shelden williams will surprise people by being a bust.

Jones, White, and Adams will all be great perimeter defenders and once they get their shots developed should be good 2way players. I'm hoping to get one of them with our 2nd round pick.

I wouldnt really consider Brewer a suprise though. Hes being projected as high as an early lotto pick. Atlanta, Houston, Bulls, ect fans want him.

I've seen mocks with him in the late 1st round. It seems as if Tellum was able to get him into the draft passed th deadline.
