Who do you guys foresee the Lakers targeting in Round 2? A PG, maybe a SF?

Mikhail Torrance is one they should take a very long look at if he is still there at 43.

One guy I would like the Lakers to take a look at if available is Lance Stephenson. He would be amazing value at 43. Nbadraft.net has him in the late 1st, draftexpress has him in the late 2nd. He may be a bit immature but put him under the tutelage of Kobe, have him go up against Ron in practice, and he would benefit from this teams overall leadership. Eventually he could take over for Kobe, or he could even be a valuable trading chip. The guy has an NBA ready body at 6-5 227 pounds with a 6-10 wingspan. He can score in bunches with solid handles and strength around the hoop, his jumpshot could use some work. He has that new york swagger. He would immediately take over Sasha's role (once that expiring K is traded), and possibly play in the D-league for experience. This draft is not very point guard deep, might as well go with best value.

I don't think Lance will be there at 43. If he is it is because of attitude that teams don't like. He would be a very good get at 43, but don't think he will be there no matter what mocks are saying at this time.

Crawford is looking to be a late 1st rounder as of now, so I don't think we move up that much. Nets and Celtics both like him.

Jarvis Vernado. It would be great to add a shot blocking and defensive dynamo to our set of finesse bigs. Might have trade up a little higher in the 2nd to get him.

They don't have to trade up to get Vasquez, if they want him he will be there at 43 unless he really blows up in these workouts. he isn't that athletic, not sure where they could hide him on D.

What about a sign and trade with Jordan Farmar and the #43 to move up in the draft? I agrre, I think Lance Stephenson is very impressive. He's got all the tools and gifts, and playing for a coach like Phil can be good for the kid.

i'm on board with scheyer too
been reading a little on mikhail torrance (who has been mentioned on this forum before) and his reviews look promising
aubrey coleman is a hit or miss. big time scorer and rebounder at the pg position. out of control but if you can tame him, then damn, u got a ball player.

a late first rounder worth trading up for might be larry sanders. he's a fun player to watch
