THE DRAFT CHALLENGE!!!

THE DRAFT CHALLENGE!!!

Postby kobe4pres08 on Tue May 16, 2006 8:59 pm

OK Guys its the 2006 NBA DRAFT CHALLENGE. Just name the player that the Lakers should draft and then at the end of next year, we will be able to quickly look at this topic and see who was right. So please just for the sake of this topic only reply with name for the 1st round and 2nd round. I will start this thing off.

It will be interesting to look back at this after the draft, to see who was right or who was dead wrong.

WE BASH MITCH SO MUCH, LETS JUST SEE IF WE CAN DRAFT
BETTER THAN HIM.

1st round: Shawne Williams/Hassan Adams/ Guillermo Diaz
2nd round: Don't care, cuz with 51st pick very rare can get something useful :man10:

P.S. If Mitch gets higher pick (lottery pick), then we should draft Marcus Williams or Ronnie Brewer.

Too early to do this, best to have a challenge like this leading into draft day. Still have workouts and the pre-draft camps in Olrando and Treviso.

Based on today I'd pick:

26
1. Thabo Sefolosha (Switzerland)
2. Marquinhos DeSouza (Brazil)
3. Maurice Ager (Michigan St)
4. James Augustine (Illinois)

51
1. Terrell Everett (Oklahoma)
2. Justin Williams (Wyoming)

I like Diaz or Lowry in the 1st round and wouldn't mind White in the second. Hassan Adams might be an alright pick as well if his head's on straight.

You do mean REALISTIC picks, right?

Based on REALISTIC choices, I'd have to say:

1st round --- Shawne Williams/James White (versatility)
2nd round --- Solomon Jones/Justin Williams (shotblocking/rebounding)
