warriors draft

i dont kno if you guys care but i was wondering who or what a position would u think the warriors should draft this year. i personally think they should get a small foward or center with their 9th pick. so do u guys say?

you guys need a center badly. trade troy murphy for younger players that deepen the bench. play something like this

o'bryant
diogu
get rid of dunleavy and his ghetto contract and put pietrus
jason richardson
baron davis / derek fisher

that team could get some where with two younger centers and adonal foyle for back up

gettin rid of dunleavy would be a nice 1st move...still dont get why he was even signed to that contract in the 1st place...

Patrick O'Bryant, pretty much the best choice for Golden State. If he's not there, pick up the phones and trade the pick, because there won't be another big in the draft that can contribute to the Warriors' needs immediately.

Id go with Shelden Williams. A Williams + Diogu front court can be pretty good defensively.

i think sheldan williams would be perfect for the warriors theyd need to get rid of foyle/murphy/

Shelden Williams has not been working out well, stock is dropping.

I agree with the consensus that O'Bryant would be a good choice. 9 is kind of no man's land. Aldridge-Thomas-Morrison-Bargnani-Gay-Roy-Williams, and then a big cliff in talent.

For the Warriors, they need to take Patrick O'Bryant. They can only hope that he isn't taken by then.

I would take Saer Sene. Sene can do everything that O'Bryant can. The difference is that he'll do it even better.

Sene is rawer than a 10 day old rash. And he definitely isn't a lotto pick.

How is he raw? This kid blocked 9 shots at the Nike Hoop Summit game. Besides, I'll take a guy that's raw but has the physical tools over a polished(not that O'Bryant is that) big stiff with a 2-inch vertical anyday.

so last year's draft you rather have taken petro instead of diogu?

Have you seen his offense? No, you haven't. Because he doesn't have any. He's only been playing ball for 3 years. He has no shot, any bucket he will get will be right under the basket. And his ball handling skills would measure up to that of a small child.

So that's how he's raw.

Not sure what your problem with O'Bryant is.

Sene will be good, but he's going to take at least 3-4 years before he's ready to do anything worth noting in the big leagues. His ideal fit would be on a team who is stacked up front, so he can sit on the bench and learn. He needs to learn the NBA game in practice and from experienced NBA vets.

I think you should trade your first round pick+ taft for mihm & change....then trade mihm the the bucks for mags...you would lose nothing and gain a solid center...even if GSW get a center from the draft..he won't be NBA ready for years...

So you would have Diagou and Mags in you fron court and Bdiddy at PG and JR at guard.....that would be a good GSW team..
