I don't think Leon Powe is going until next year, but he'd be a great low-first to early-second rounder in 2006.

Realistically, I think the best option for the Lakers would be to pick a rebounder. A big man, someone like Paul Millsap. Not only will be fill a void, but he'd definitely solidify our post to ridiculously brilliant measures. The guy has led the nation in rebounding all three years he's been in college. With the potential acquisition of Boozer, we could very well be the best rebounding team in the NBA, with three guys on the Lakers who you know will get us 10 boards a night.

As for the point guard issue, all decent point guards that will help us out any will most likely be gone by the 26th pick.

Shawne Williams or Millsap look good to me for our first round pick.

hence the point of the "realistic" part of this thread.

Dee Brown, thats my pick, he tore up the Chicago pre draft workouts last year before getting hurt. This year has shown the ability to fall into the role of playmaker with Deron Williams departed. Hes the best on the ball defender in the draft and can ignite the fast break like no other. Dubbed "The one man fast break" well let me assure you Kobe will run with him. Dee's shot isn't quite reminiscent of his namesake the former Boston Celtic but certainly can knock the long ball down when left open. Like Sky said shooting can be acquired. Gilbert Arenas wasn't seen as much of a shooter but can light up the gym if given the chance. Brown has that intensity and desire to be a star. I'm not saying he will be but I definitely think hes worth taking a look at with our 26th pick.

dee brown?

he can't shoot. numbers are down across the board from last year. his injury must be bothering him more than he expected.

undersized and not likely to turn out as well as jameer nelson. might end up being a juan dixon/ dajuan wagner. undersized volume shooter.

I promise you that there is no risk with Sene. He is coordinated and in control of himself, unlike Bynum. I would take Sene over Bynum in a heartbeat.

Gotta go with either Shawne Williams or Kyle Lowery. I lean more toward a point guard though. Sene is an interesting prospect, but he has only been playing ball since 2003. With Bynum, I'm just not sure we need another project. I wouldn't mind Farmar either. Not that athletic, but a good pure point.

Since Marcus most likely won't be there for us I say Kyle Lowry from Villanova.

Landlord could fall like Booze..please play like a nincompoop in camps Shelden please.. and experience a Chris Taft -like freefall of your stock so Mitch could take a "gamble" on you. :man9:

I hope Williams experiences diarhea everytime he works out for teams.. :man10: Yeah I'm desperate...
