All deserved, but ugh at two Lakers playing with 2 Clippers again, hate both of those dudes. Shame Nash won't make the team this season, I fully expected to have 3 Laker all-stars this season.

outside of dwight and bynum, the center position is dead. no wonder why they took it off the ballot.

He's not having his best statistical season, but what other big men are there in the East?

Awesome.....

Ironic that 2 starter all-stars on both teams, west & east, who have been in the NBA Finals at least 2x in the last 5 years, are on teams that have a combined record of 37-39? :man4:

Lebron's head is a perfect rectangle/square.

All good candidates, but this is the fan vote, they vote for the big names, I'm sure at least one of those guys will be added by the coach.

If you ask a lot of Celtics fans, most of them will say that KG has been the best player on the team. Before Avery Bradley came into the picture, the Celtics consistently collapsed whenever KG went to the bench.

I'd be happier if all the players dresssed like garnett did here. It was much better when everyone was wearing their teams' jersey. I don't even know why they changed it in the first place!? And all-star jersey are getting uglier too..

I just realized Kobe is almost as small as Kevin Durant, everyone else has pretty jacked arms.

Kobe and dwight are the only handsome ones
The Black Mamba and the White Swan
Kobe on talk with Pau about being more aggressive, "it's against his nature, he's always very nice, very white swan, I need him to be black swan"

KG shouldn't be an all star this year....and Derrick Rose would have been a starter if he wasn't injured so that's why Rondo is in there....

I feel bad for the Spurs and Grizzlies...their teams have played really well and yet nobody on their team is a starter for the All Star team...

Well, Carmelo's isn't very believable. And Griffin looks like a freakin zombie. Looked like this was shot on an auto exposure or something. Crappity crap photography is crap.

Wade isn't smiling either. His jaw line has gotten so big that it has stretched his upper and lower jaw so far his lips can't touch.

Wheaties and PED's will do that to you.

So there's no All-Star reserves thread, thought I'd comment on them here. As long as I can remember the NBA has been full of stars, enough that even the reserves would be filled up with stars and only the occasional no name having a surprise year. This season, some of the East reserves: Tyson Chandler, Paul George, Jrue Holiday, Joakim Noah. These are good players, but they aren't stars, I doubt any casual fans outside of Indiana know George, that that many outside Philly know Holiday, and Chandler and Noah are 2 of the most unskilled offensive bigs I've ever seen make an All-Star game. Chandler is a champion and a gold medalist, Noah is having a great season, but this is going to be ugly if we're comparing to past AS games full of star bigs top to bottom.

There's no such thing as star bigs anymore Weez.

There's the dinos like Duncan and Nowitski. Then there's the remnants like Howard and Bynum (when healthy). Then there's the new age "PF" which are actually just fast SFs. Guys like LeBron, Anthony, Durant. They're all "PF"s these days.
Stu : "Yeah, that's an old fashioned whoopin'."
