So what happened?... I thought he was sore from the "Kobe" injection treatment...... now it's a "bone bruise" suffered before training camp?.... Wasn't it a bone bruise that hobbled him in the playoffs a few years back?....

i wish Drew all the best in Philly but having seen this for a couple of years with the Lakers can't say I'm surprised.

Would've been nice to see that young team with him at the middle by now.

Anyways when exactly did Bynum get injured? He was healthy all of season essentially did he get injured in the summer? How the hell did that happen?

No idea, I'm beginning to wonder if the Lakers knew about this injury before he got traded.

^No. I think it occured AFTER the transaction was done. I'd think it would have shown up during the physicals. Really unfortunate set of circumstances...
Nor can the Lakers get blamed for always making the right decisions over decades. At some point its not just luck or "gamble", its superior management and superior ownership.
