Congrats on the D-League MVP, but mostly what that tells me is that the jump in talent from the D-League to NBA is huge. MVP of the D-League can barely get off the bench for a 7th seed and wouldn't make most teams.

yeah, trey johnson was averaging almost 30 a game in nbdl too. he only got off the bench for us that year because steve blake was hurt.

I don't recall Trey Johnson ever being able to get inside the paint and score against NBA defenses the way Glock showed last season when he was getting a consistent 20 minutes a game during a stretch when Blake was hurt. Glock's floater and his 3pt shot (both of which are superior to Johnson's) make his game more palatable for the NBA as far as offense goes. The floater is a shot that short players like Glock and Johnson must have to shoot over NBA caliber shotblockers. An accurate 3pt shot is also a necessity to open up spacing for drives since they can't drive using strength the way bigger players like Melo and Lebron can.

gee...you let goudelock play and goudelock scored. SCIENCE.

yet another reason to be critical of ownership/management: giving contracts to the likes of ebanks and morris...while cutting guys like CDR and goudelock. sure, it was also a result of the coaching, but by extension the ownership/management is at fault again because guess who hired those dumb-dumbs? stupidity at its finest.

Such a better offensive threat than Meeks. It's a shame he didn't have a roster spot this year. Deserved it much more than some of the bums at the end of the bench

Might've been a fluke game, honestly. Still, I would re-sign him for the min... give it a go again. Maybe he can prove useful.

Great game, wish he would have shot more. Don't know if we keep him or not, but other teams have to be paying attention at least.

He was cut because for some insane reason we gave Morris a contract BEFORE training camp.

Would have been nice to have him as a weapon coming off from bench to backup Kobe all season, so instead of playing Kobe 45 minutes a game, maybe MDA will played Kobe 38 minutes a game then. :man5:

Not a fluke game, Godlock is a scorer. Given enough reps, he can fill it up in a hurry.
I should get an assist for that. It's an intentional pass to oneself, so it's an assist. That way people can't say all I do is shoot.

Loved GLOCK's energy tonight. He has no fear, and that's what you want from your shooting guard. I want him back next year. I don't want Morris or Ebanks back.
