That floater is just beautifully amazing. It's weird seeing a Laker do it; almost seems like he should be wearing a Spurs jersey or something.

It's funny how after G-LOC found some success with the floater Kobe seemed to be like "oh yeah, lemme get it on that". I haven't seen Bryant use his floater in a while (speaking of which, hilarious thread pertaining to just that for those of you who have never seen it) but it seemed like once he saw that Goudelock was able to use it effectively, Kobe also acknowledged that the defense was leaving him open in that regard as well.

The kid has earned backup SG minutes. We need to see how he can produce with Kobe at SF and the starters on the floor. He should get enough open looks.

He is really impressing with his decision making. Shooting, driving, moving off the ball. Very smart player.

Double digits in 3 of his last 4 games.
Averaging 21 minutes, 10.5 points, 1.3 assists, 1.5 boards in his last four.
And he's up to 20-49 FGs, 10-23 3s, 6-6 FTs

Getting there...

Love his shooting, but we knew he could that. I'm impressed with his ability to get in the lane. He got in not only to throw up his floater but he also kicked it out and eventually lead to a Kapono wide open 3.

Loving what he is bringing to the table right now. Defense still needs work, but you can't argue with the offensive results.

Can we get this guy in the 3pt contest or what? What do we have to do to get him in?

Goudelock's defense is better than Morris'.

He hustles, and stays grounded, doesn't bite and doesn't get lost on screens. Morris is quick, and can stick on guys, but he get's burned and lost way to easily.

Glock has filled a lot of gaps we were having. A PG, a shooter, and a bench scorer.

I'm not saying it's not possible for Gl0ck to become a very good player, but I feel like his situation is more like Boobie Gibson (I think some people mentioned this in the Gameday thread). He's a second round pick whose skill-set is already suited for the NBA perfectly. He's just a flat-out scorer/shooter and because of that, he's been able to make an immediate impact. I don't expect him to improve much more (just because I think that would be setting our expectations too high since after all, he is a second rounder whose only played like 10 games), but at the same time I don't expect him to regress. I think he can be a career 7-10 ppg off the bench.

He is comfortable out there when he's shooting or attacking. The opposite is true when trying to run the offense however. He's definitely a shooting guard. He could be a 8-10 point a night guy given the time.... which he'll get until Blake returns.
