He can shoot and isn't afraid of ... Was funny when he yelled at Blake to pass him the ball on one posession in the 4th .
As I said after the 2nd preseason game , he moves his feet pretty well on D

The thing that really impresses me is his effort (and success so far) on defense. He's a good shooter but also realizes he can contribute in another huge way by coming to play on the other end of the floor.

Goudelock was on Rose until Brown pulled him for Fisher.

Fisher was already slow 12 years ago and Phil had to put Lue on Iverson to make him work harder. Hope Goudelock can be our new Tyron Lue !!

As long as he can consistently shoot the three and not be a defensive liability, I'm down for letting him play all the minutes he can handle. :jam2:

I'm a Goudelock fan.

Great shot from outside and very good lateral quickness on the perimeter. This guy should be the next guard off the bench after Blake. BTW, Blake also played very well yesterday. He looked miles ahead of Fisher.

He has all the tools he needs to be a great shooter in this league: Solid shooting mechanics, quickness to move around screens and get open, and unwavering confidence.

That's funny how people change on CL. Just a few days ago people were saying that Goudelock should be cut or at best play in D-League. If I were Mitch I'd never read any post from CL or do exactly the opposite of what people say. May be that's what he's doing !!

I wasn't one of the posters advocating for him going to the D-league, but I can see where they are coming from.

Glock is an undersized SG. You have to be a tough cookie if you're going to make it in the NBA if you're giving up 2-3 inches of size (he's 6'3). You're going to be defended by guys who are taller than you, so you have to make heavily contested shots with a hand in your face. You also have to defend while having a size disadvantage. So it's natural to be skeptical. So far, Glock has come through despite some obvious physical disadvantages.

Loved what I saw from Glock, but hopefully his jumping up and down waving his arms routine was due to rookie haste. I can see that getting annoying for veterans like Kobe and Fish to see every time he's in the game. Enjoyed watching his hustle and confidence on both ends of the floor though.

He hustles and shot the open shots pretty well. Hype of this thread aside.... he has shown that he can shoot. Let's see if he can show that the rest of his game belongs at this level.

I actually loved that. The kid has great confidence and I think that's going to help the team show confidence in him as well. It'll get annoying if he's not open, but he was wide open and Blake(?) has got to find him. The kid's shot is smooth and while it's too early to call it automatic, it looks nice.

He may also be being used as trade bait like Ebanks to try to get Orlando to pull the trigger on Bynum/Howard but I hope we keep at least one of those guys.

He showed a lot of confidence today in his shot, and he was making them so hopefully that translates well into today's game. He's also a good defender and played Rose really well, I noticed that when Rose was knocking down those threes most of the time it was Blake or Fisher who was on him. Keep it up GLOCK! :jam2:

The only knock on him that I have seen is that when he gets doubled its real hard for him to pass out of it if he gets trapped.

Other than that, set that boy some screens and let him shoot all day. His shot and form is money. And he's got defense to boot. I don't mind him getting the majority of SG minutes behind Kobe because so far in the games Ive seen him play, he's got the skills to compete and contribute.

I can't wait for the game where he just goes off from deep, it will be glorious. :jam2:

Good interview, he definitely has a lot more confidence now after playing well in his first regular season game. As long as he plays how he did yesterday he will always get minutes.
