No superstar in their right mind is gonna go to New Orleans. He will be playing for another team the second he hits free agency.

If I'm NO, I'm trying my hardest to get a superstar there to pair with him.

In particular, what position?

A wing player, SG/SF. I'd take a similar setup to the Lakers with Kobe/Pau tandem.

PG - Solid flood general that doesn't need the ball to make an impact
SG - Star player
SF - Defensive minded/3 point floor spacer
PF - AD
C - Defensive minded big in the mold of a Hibbert/M.Gasol/Varejao. Nice defense with enough offensive game teams can't cheat.

I like it and I find it interesting that you have no interest in trying to mould a line-up that is more "suitable" for the fast-paced NBA with a stretch 4 and go with the twin towers line-up.

^There are still a lot of people in that camp. I for one would not abandon that twin tower philosophy at all. I love that idea Doc if I am the Pelicans. I just don't think they have the FO to pull it off. However, they do have the assets to maybe do it with trade because they have Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans, and Ryan Anderson.

Dude is a beast. His length helps him out so much and as everyone knows, length matters in basketball. He also gets of the ground so quickly. When they played the Clips last week, he made two defensive plays which impressed me big time. Crawford had him on iso about 20 feet from the basket and Crawford was doing his dancing, trying to set up Davis for a shot or drive by. And he had Davis out of position before pulling up for the jumper and Davis still blocked the shot because of his length, quick feet and ability to explode off the floor so quickly. I don't think I've ever seen a big block Crawford on an iso situation taking a 20 footer. Usually, the big is 5 feet from Crawford after he's done dancing.

Second, at the end of the game, with the Clips having a chance to tie, he was again on iso guarding Cp3. Now this is usually Cp3 time but Davis put Cp3 right in front of him and didn't allow him to penetrate. Cp3 ended up passing out to Crawford with the clock running down and the Clips lost when Crawford missed the 3.

The guy is already great and he will be an All-Star for the next 12 years. There is no doubting this guy.

CP3 time..... If your talking about losing a close game the your right.... But it almost seemed like your implying that CP3 time results in wins. At least he passed it. In the playoffs he just throws himself into the nearest opponent and throws his arms up.
