Anthony Mason to retire?

how sad...he still had a chance with many teams and of all of them he chose to retire...LOL, that shows that he doesn't have any self-confidence in his physical abilities. Either that or he knows that he's going to screw up the locker room by being a cancer to the younger players. He had so many chances, retiring at so young a age (well young for a calibered player like him), or maybe he lost hope. Or maybe he retired because he knew that the Lakers didn't want him after signing Russell. Oh how the possibilities are endless....
