Wow that's a lot of money for Teague...

Sign and trade for Ellis?

I agree, that's a little too much for Jeff

15 and 7, pretty solid defender, room to grow, and he's getting paid less annually than jeremy lin. i'm guessing they match.

Technically he's not. :man9:

I don't know. I guess young PGs are ALL going for over what I think they're worth. Because this kid is already 25 years old, his assist/turnover ratio isn't blowing my mind, and he's not super efficient from the field.

i don't know; his numbers look better than mike conley's when he signed for more and as good as ty lawson's when he signed for more.

i think atlanta's just such a basketball wasteland that nobody paid attention. 8 per for teague seems reasonable to me.

Well my point is that all those guys get paid too much. Collectively. :man10:

I'm told that Jeff Teague has told Hawks GM Danny Ferry that he is ready to move on. #ATLHawks

Chris Vivlamore ‏@ajchawks 4h
Jeff Teague told me he doesn't expect Hawks to match offer sheet. #ATLHawks

If ATL doesn't match MIL's offer to Jeff Teague, Mo Williams is possible replacement. They expressed interest in Mo earlier in free agency.

Gery Woelfel ‏@GeryWoelfel 4h
All indications point toward Jeff Teague becoming a Milwaukee Buck.

Hawks and Bucks talks about a S&A with Teague never got any traction.

I like Teague. I think he's got good potential. I understand the Hawks' hesitation (and obviously the fact that Teague is "ready to move on" doesn't help), but I dunno, there are much worse contracts out there.
