The Chicago Bulls waived guard Rick Brunson on Monday and signed Jannero Pargo and Paul Shirley to 10-day contracts.
The 10-day contract is Shirley's second with the Bulls. The 6-foot-10 forward is averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in four appearances with Chicago.
Pargo, a guard, spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors this season, averaging 1.8 points and 1.3 assists in 18 games. He averaged 2.5 points in 34 games with the Lakers last year.
Brunson played 37 games after the Bulls acquired him from Toronto on Dec. 16 for Roger Mason Jr. The six-year veteran has averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 assists, and shot almost 48 percent from 3-point range.
