He looks just fine there. The quickness is there but the lift isn't yet after 18 months of rehab.

He looks alright. That move was nice, but it was missing just a little more strength to help with the balance of it. It looked a little painful which by every account so far it probably was.

It's really nice to see him moving though. I don't know how much longer he can keep it up, but it certainly is nice to see a big man using post moves around the rim.

@PDcavsinsider 2h

#Cavs center Andrew Bynum will miss the next two games to deal with a personal, family matter. Unrelated to his knees or comments last week

@cavs 2h

UPDATE: A. Bynum was excused following practice today to address a family medical matter. He will rejoin the team in WAS on Sat.

i hope everything is ok with his family...

on other side...i am happy to see him still playing...i hope his knees wont give up on him...
if he could play 25min per game and if they get solid SG, cle might even fight for play off spot this year...

I do miss watching a big play down low and make good moves. Just something that's been missing in the league.

happy to see him out there instead of dealing with injuries

i do miss him in LA though. not only does he have such a better offensive game than dwight but he can actually make his free throws too. if he hadn't suffered all those knee injuries he'd be a dominating big man today, probably the best in the game

The best thing to do with Drew is limit his minutes. He's going to be a force to deal with when he's on the court...he's just gotta stay healthy. Glad to see him out there playing again.

My favorite thing to do in the 90's was watch the center play. Hakeem, Shaq, David, Patrick, even Vlade. Mostly Hakeem though.

That footwork, the skill, making guys look foolish in the post.

That post move was Hakeem-esque. He definitely looks heavier, but then again, I would prefer to be bigger, but it's not good for his knees I bet.

Still rootin for ya Drew.

On a side note related to the Cavs: looks like Potato Head has just about lost the team... think only Bynum can save him.
I shall be telling this with a sigh

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Potato Head is the same awful coach there that he was here.

When players are holding a "players only meeting" 10 games into the season, then it's really bad.

Cleveland is loaded with talent. A good coach would have them a middle seed.

Bennett is terrible. They should think about moving Varejao to backup PF (when Bynum plays) and have Zeller back up Bynum. They would get more meaningful minutes out that 4/5 group because Zeller can actually play.

Another thing I notice with the Cavs is that they don't get any production from the small forward position. Clark isn't a small forward and he routinely goes ghost mode for entire games. Gee is a solid player, but seems to play Gee/Clark/Bennett in this 3 way rotation with even split in minutes. Can't do that, have to pick and let the guys get a feel for their role.

Going back to that Bennett pick. If they would have taken a SG/SF instead of a tweener, their rotation would have been a lot easier to handle.

Irving / Jack
Waiters / Oladipo
Gee / Miles
Thompson / Clark
Bynum / Varejao / Zeller

Way more balanced team and everyone is playing in their correct positions.

Production out of the small forward position..... I've forgotten what that looks like

That was a nice possession by Bynum in that video. I constantly use that move when playing pick up games and it usually gets people. I don't understand why other centers don't use it, it's not rocket science.

He played Kyrie, Jack and Dellavadova all at once last game. That's the total opposite of length.

This is a very good team, I don't know how this team would loss to Minnesota for 29 points and also loss to the Bobcats, Mike Brown is a terrible coach.

As bad as the Cavs are, they are currently tied for 8th place with Toronto and Boston in the leastern conference.

Meanwhile, the 8th seed in the western conference is a .600 squad (Mavs).

Yeah, I know it's 10 games into the season, but I think this is pretty close to what we're going to be seeing all season.
