^Wow. If that's true, then I'm sure the Cleveland medical staff were none too happy.

He looked kinda like the Bynum we saw in LA. He was fronted all night and hardly got the ball in postup position, so he crashed the glass for putbacks and even got one lob for a dunk. His lift is beginning to come back.

Unfortunately for Bynum, Irving was MIA and had one of the worst games of his career. A complete goose-egg. Cavs can't win games if Irving is playing like crap.

They get absolutely zero production from the small forward spot.

Gee / Clark / Bennett are all playing like garbage.

I don't know how many games those 3 have combined to put up like 4 points combined and nothing else.

God I am so happy we don't have to deal with Mike Brown any longer.

On another note, him sabotaging Kyrie's early career could be the ticket that drives him to LA :man1:

Funny how in 1 month the Cavs go from "wow, this team has pieces, Kyrie and potential to sign LeBron", to "wow, this team is a mess".
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

He's an RFA in 2015. He's unrestricted in 2016 if he only takes the QO from the Cavs.

There are rumors around the Cavs forums that he's a constant partier who drinks a lot. Some believe that he partied the night before (it's Atlanta afterall) and it affected his performance last night.

All this FA talk ... Kyrie has proved nothing until now besides putting good numbers in his 1st two seasons on a bad team

^Not just that. Putting up good numbers but never being able to play more than 59 games in a season. People talk about Bynum being injury prone. Kyrie isn't so great in that department either.

No, that's not it at all. It's Bynum that's making them suck. I read that somewhere.... :man12:

I've always liked Bynum, even though at times he was immature and very injury prone, but nevertheless happy to see him doing well in Cleveland.

@daldridgetnt 6h

ICYMI: Rockets will trade Asik next Wednesday or Thursday. And do not discount Cleveland/Varejao. Would be perfect fit next to Howard.

Normally, I don't get too worked up about rumors unless it comes from Woj or Stein, but Aldridge is fairly reliable.

If Asik is traded to Cleveland for Varejao, then it's going to cause an interesting situation for Bynum and the Cavs.

Varejao works better with Bynum than Asik would. Not sure why Cleveland would do this unless they want to move Bynum.

They want to get Asik so that they can pair him with Pau. Old school Rockets plan.

Bynum back to LA. :jam2: :jam2:

Knees? That's all I can come up with. Maybe the trade will be a 3-way and Cleveland is the "facilitator" moving Asik to another team.

Asik requested a trade as soon as D12 was signed. He's not interested in being a backup for D12. I'm not sure why he'd want to be a backup for Bynum. Bynum would have to be moved or the deal involves moving Asik to a 3rd team in order for Cleveland to possibly pick up a SF.

Take Pau and one of our SFs. We'll even eat some salary for the season! :man1:

Actually, I'm hoping Bynum is fine, but he remains such a question mark in terms of health. Still, his contract is structured in a pretty favorable way. Apparently $6m of his salary is guaranteed this year. Next year, no guarantee if waived before July.

It could be that Cleveland sees no future with Andrew and medically his knees are degenerating. If that is the case it's a matter of when not if it becomes bad enough that he will need to retire. I hope it isn't the case, but it's definitely a possibility.

If he's only going to be with Cleveland through July (if waived due to injury) Asik would be a great insurance policy.

I guess CLE might be concerned about Bynum's knees. Again, I've always loved Bynum but wanted to trade him because of those health issues. That proved to be correct the first time. Of course, if there was nothing wrong with Bynum I'd take him back... he's awesome when he can play. But those knee injuries always worry me. Every time that kid jumps for a rebound and lands, I'm like "please be OK, please be OK." It's kinda stressful. :man10:
