He looked pretty good for his first game back, I really hope he's a factor for them vs Miami in the playoffs and they can take them out.

Indiana seems to be the right fit for him. Can't wait to see Bynum vs Oden in the playoffs. :man10:

If Bynum can produce for the Pacers and allow them to play their style for 48 minutes, that might be the piece that gets them over the hump. I like that they took their time before throwing Bynum back out there. I think Indy is a good place for him. Hopefully they know by now that Mahinmi is basically obsolete with Bynum there and there should be no reason Mahinmi sees the floor from here on out. Bynum makes that second unit significantly better and I think they can knock Miami out if this continues. Bynum, Scola, Evan Turner and C.J. Watson off the bench is pretty darn solid.

He has looked good so far, but they need to keep him healthy but also get him in rhythm before the playoffs start.

Trodgers I'm with you, def bittersweet with Drew...hopefully we can get him back to LA but I doubt it with MDA as our coach. He'll most likely re-sign with Indy if they win it all...or if he produces for them in the palyoffs...either one

Andrew Bynum is out tonight for Pacers. Coach Vogel said there's knee swelling and an MRI is scheduled. Sound familiar?

Indiana needs to be careful with Bynum, just save him for the playoffs.

Tough news for him. All the skill but the body is failing…. in his mid-twenties…….

Hope he invested wisely…..

Bynum can only handle very limited minutes. He's still big and talented, but his minutes should be kept at a minimum. Practice with the team, save your knees for the playoffs etc. As a featured NBA player, he's done. He's playing what... around 18-19 minutes on average lately? That's too much. 10 would be more realistic. Hopefully, he has some money saved, but I remember he liked spending on cars and jewelry so... who knows.

I'd send him out to play one time slot. There would be no cooling off and returning. There would be no "building his wind" or anything like that. And I wouldn't change that until I saw him play (next year) several games a week for a few weeks. In other words it's a huge investment of time and resources. Is he worth it?

The best thing we did was not give this guy a max deal. Could you guys imagine having him and Nash locked up and only getting 10 games out of them?

That would be brutal.

If only we would have left the prima donna in Orlando and dealt directly with Philly for Iggy/Vucevic. Damn. That would be nice right about meow.

Andrew Bynum apparently felt like getting his hair cut ... during halftime

Andrew Bynum has only played in two games with the Pacers since his short stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers. And it doesn't look like that will change any time soon now that Indiana has announced the big man is out indefinitely with knee soreness.

Shocker, right?

Looks like Bynum has grown so used to not playing that he apparently goes on with his regular day-to-day activities without letting basketball interfere. Even on game day.

Heaven forbid, Friday's Pacers-Bulls game got in the way of Bynum's need for a haircut. So in typical Andrew Bynum fashion, he decided to get his hair cut during halftime.
At least that's what Instagram user @devanthehairtech says. He posted two photos Friday night during halftime of the Pacers' game against the Bulls. His first photo used the caption, "My cutrent [sic] situatiom [sic]. Bathroom cut at bankers life for Pacer center Andrew Bynum during halftime of Bulls game."

The photo has since been deleted.

His second photo included Bynum and used the caption, "You know what it is. Cut the homie Pacer Center Andrew Bynum up at halftime of game. Real good dude, good convo."

While we don't think it's normal for an NBA player to get his haircut during an actual game, it is Andrew Bynum . . . and he's not exactly, well, normal.

Plus, it's probably a good thing he got trimmed up before his hair got out of control. We all remember what that looked like . . .

when i hear of Bynum's injuries and his antics, i really dont feel any pity...it's karma that's giving Bynum a constant 5 punch combo

Andrew Bynum likely done with Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are set to start the playoffs with a first round matchup against the Atlanta Hawks and to no surprise one of their big men won't play.

From Candace Buckner of The Indianapolis Star: "Andrew Bynum will not be available for playoffs series vs #Hawks, per #Pacers coach Frank Vogel ... Vogel said that longer the #Pacers play, odds increase of Bynum rejoining roster. ...well, Pacers would have to play until September then."

Bynum's knee is so bad that he likely won't play in the post-season even if the Pacers get to the NBA Finals in early June. With that in mind, the two-game played from Bynum will likely be his last with the team. His time as an NBA player is probably over, too.

^^Degeneration is a bad....bad thing.....

Too bad..... he seemed to be consumed by the failure of his body to respond.

Hope he saved and invested wisely.
