I Can't Stand Blake Griffin

I cannot stand Blake Griffin. My least favorite player in the league. Manu Ginobli makes just a regular, routine foul on Chris Paul and then he tries to act all tough like he usually does. Even Jeff Van Gundy said it was just a regular foul. For Griffin to react the way he did was completely uncalled for.

Griffin goes up to Ginobli and then starts talking to Stephen Jackson. First of all he's an idiot for challenging Jackson. That dude is crazy and will knock Griffin's a** out without hesitation. I hope World Peace elbows this clown next. Don't even care if he gets suspended. I cannot stand the Clippers as a team. Act like they are the s*** when they haven't won a damn thing. A bunch of soft Floppers on that team.

Anyways I just listened to DeAndre Jordan's post game interview and this what he said about the altercation between Griffin, Paul, Jackson, and Ginobli.

"We don't wanna anyone to hurt our teammate. That's all."

I hate him before he came in the NBA...

He's a punk, a fake tough guy, a flopper with no fundamentals. All he's got is crazy athleticism, but how much will it last? His knees seem a bit fragile to me.

yeah, i can't say i am the least bit disappointed each time i hear of a new knee injury there. just a douche.

He's much more injury prone than anyone cares to talk about in the media.

And yes he's a huge, huge douche. I'd love to see Dwight or Sacre put him on his *** and then step over him.

Judging by the way Chris Paul flails his arms and legs every time he's touched, I don't doubt one of these days he's just going to tear himself in half going for a flop.

Who aside from Clippers fans can stand him? He's a flopper, a showboater, loves to pose and look all hard after dunks, comes across as a wannabe tough guy, but flops around like a wuss.

Has there been a Blake Griffin thread here that has been anything but a "hate" thread?..... not that it's wrong.... in fact I fully support and will foster it..... but just noticing that when his name comes up in a thread it is usually followed closely by a post of hate..... never mind that it's usually me..... just noting it...

However, I really do dislike the guy. I hope Dwight posterizes him this season.

His commercials may not be funny, but he is a very good actor. Coincidentally that translates well for him to the court.

There have been threads in the past where people have been very hopeful for a recovery (Rose for instance) but since he's always injured, there's not much news on that end.

I liked Blake when he entered the league, I don't really pay attention to college ball, and at the time, it seemed like he was an athletic freak who got unfortunately sidelined and there was that human interest and you wanted him to succeed and all. His first full year, I didn't hate him either, thought people were too hard on him in general, criticizing him as if he were a 6-7 year vet already, and omgthosedunks.

But since the Clippers aren't a joke anymore, you start to see how poorly the dude handles success. He walks with a posture of "I'm bigger than you and I make more money, therefore I am better and you are worse", even amongst his peers. He's constantly trying to mean mug players and act like a tough guy, and just overall has the demeanor of every negative stereotype of a dumb jock douchebag there is.

So that kind of sucks, especially since the league has kind of grown up overall past that, save for a few players. But then as if that wasn't enough, he's also one of the worst repeat offender serial floppers in the league, and on more than a single occasion when someone has stood up to him he's backed down or avoided eye contact or otherwise shied away.

But... then damn, dude has had some of the best crushers I've ever seen. Oh well.

I think he's a terrible basketball player, but he's hilarious as a personality. I'm actually kind of glad he's a star in the league right now. His interviews and commercials are funny. Basketball-wise he doesn't deserve that contract, but it's the Clippers' grave, not ours!
