Can you believe this game between the Wolves and Queens

Postby Vasashi17 on Fri Dec 05, 2003 10:26 pm

No team has had 4 straight overtime games and well that is exactly what is happening now. But this game had it all....both teams were down huge...both teams came back and there is still overtime to be played.

If you guys can, tune into ESPN right now...overtime is underway.....This game would be great if Minnesota can pull it off. I can't lie, I don't like the queens, but more than that, I love my man KG and Spree (he's on my fantasy team)...take it to 'em Minnesota.

No, J....the last four games between the Wolves and the queens have gone to overtime...and that's a record...no two teams have ever done that in any 4 consecutive meetings that they have faced each other. The record before tonight was 3 OT games and 3 sets of teams shared that record....but now it belongs to the Wolves and Queens.

Today's game had one overtime, but it was worth watching...especially after halftime....the game got good from there.

KG is flat out THA MAN

He flat out led by example tonight and did NOT let his team lose! he hit not one, but TWO 3 pointers to send tha game to OT in 29 seconds! with a lil bit of help from tha kings CHOKING again at tha FT line, tha Twolves had tha game go their way and spree and cassell proved their worth by sealin tha game with KEY baskets

I hafta say outa respect...MILLER played one HELL of a game...35 pts and 10 rebs AGAINST KG! I didnt think Miller would do this good with SAC, i seriously thot he'd avg 7 or 8 ppg, but he has exploded this year...I hafta give him credit for that...but sorry Miller, u DIDNT HIT EM WHEN THEY COUNTED! YOU TOOK AFTER UR TEAMMATE NAMED WEBBER AND CHOKED!

The Queens are the official choke artists... that sounds sad.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

I know, I kinda made it sound like it was a 4OT game...how tight would that be...wasn't there a 3OT one last year in the playoffs between Dallas and the Kings....I forget...anyways, honest mistake but still try to catch this game when they replay it on ESPN...its worth it.

I know, KG stepped up in the clutch...but can you believe he made those two knowing that he was 1 for 8 this season from behind the 3point line. CLUTCH....God would I love to see him in a Laker jersey.

KG KO'd Kings with two 3 pointers in the last 29 seconds in regulation and sending it in OT for an eventual Wolves win. :wow: Nice game.

Man, and I thought the Kings won the game... I left and I forgot about the game until I saw Sportscenter. Man, KG hit that 3 to send the game into OT and I think it was Bibby who had a chance to win the game, but he choked once again. And wow, V I didn't know that their past 4 meetings hava all went into extra minutes... That's freakin crazy... I'm glad that the Wolves won in this kinda fashion. The highlights were off tha hook!

With that win, the Lakers are the only unbeaten-home team.

it was funny cuz i was goin crazy like it was a laker game! i watched tha ENTIRE game! i was pretty damn pissed when tha kings wouldnt miss! i mean it was like they were practicing! i was AMAZED of how good of a shooting team they are, even miller hit a 3! They were up by like 13, and then all of a sudden tha game slowed down and Twolves slowly chipped into tha lead..KG led them back, man he had an EMPHATIC dunk after miller trippped over himself and he got an AND 1 on bibby! it was too great!

And then when KG hit those 2 threes, i was ON MY FEET CHEERING! and when tha game was over i stood up and started LAUGHING SO HARD cuz i couldnt believe how badly tha kings CHOKED on NATIONAL TV ONCE AGAIN! I stood up and applauded tha effort of tha twolves, comin in, beatin tha kings on their home court after they were down 102-96 with 29 seconds left, seemed to be over but KG never backed down! i love KG and i think he is better than DUNCAN!

Duncan never had to do what KG had to do every night....... He played center........... He can play any hat... With NO ADMIRAl nor did he ever have one to cover his back.......... Props to Duncan but KG has played and proven......... Tim is still on the learning edge of the curve......

Ur kings better avoid losing 2 straight at home...they play tha best team in tha eastern conference tonight...but of course theyve been a lil bit exposed on this 5 game west coasat trip(losing to tha lakers and blazers, winning against suns and sonics)
