The 2 rookies face each other on Wednesday, I personally think Carmelo will win the match-up between the 2.

I think the opposite. 'Melo will eat up LeBron and the Cavs.

Matchups:(predictions)

Carmelo>>>27pts. 14rebs. 4ast.

LeBron>>>8pts. 5rebs. 7ast. only 3-14 FG%

Nuggets: 93

Cavs: 71

shaq fan u crack me up

lebron AINT gonna have such a bad game, although i personally think nuggets will win, and i do like melo better than 'bron, i dont think he would do THAT bad, i mean he already had an off day and i think he would bounce back from that with a vengence

her are my stats

melo- 18 points 12 rebs 3 assists in 38 minutes

lebron- 22 points 10 assists 6 rebouns in 42 minutes

nugs win 101-95

Shaq Fan, your biased hate for LeBron James shows right through your posts. It's all good though. :man10:

LeBron 20 pts, 8 rebs, 6 asts, 2 steals
Carmelo 21 pts, 9 rebs, 1 ast

I think it will be a close matchup but LeBron's stats will be more all around and he'll contribute in many more ways than Carmelo.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

Nah its not like that. :disagree: :man1:

I just think LeBron is getting way to much hype, when other rooks are just as good, if not a tad bit better then him. He got hype just because he is young, and came right from H.S.

And I do think that them first two games was not how he will be this year. I think he will be more like pre-season, and the last game he played. I think he is in for a rude awakening.

i got that feeling...when i saw his preseason numbers...

but then i changed my mind after he put up 25 and 21 on tha kings and suns, respectively. Actually he almsot had a triple double in both games! he had an off game in portland which was expected to happen sooner or later...better now than later ?

I think this game is gonna be DOWN TO THE WIRE...i cant wait for this game actually...its gonna be so exciting and down to tha wire its unbelievable!!! I say Lebron puts up 19 pts, 11 rebs and 9 assists and Carmelo puts up 24 pts, 7 rebs and 4 assists, but Cleveland will win it, they'll have big games from Ricky Davis and D Miles...its their home opener and i dont see them losing this one...they cant open up 0-4...well the reason why they are 0-3 is cuz they started off tha season against 3 Western Conference Playoff Contenders...wait til Lebron meets teams from tha east and weak teams from tha west....

Carmelo got drafted from College, LeBron from High School. College experience heavily outweighs pip squeak high school players.

Carmelo, hands down.

not in this case

high school players normally are out-done by guys that went to college for a year or two...but thats cuz higih school players are not in shape and are very lanky or out of shape

LEBRON came into tha NBA ALREADY with an NBA body...hes HUGE at 6'8 240 and he plays tha POINT POSITION...hes versatile, athletic, and is a pass-first-shoot-second kind of guy...he likes to make his teammates better and hes got amazing explosiveness off his first step...he gets to tha rim at will...jus look at what he did to shawn marion!!! Melo is up there but lebron will be better i guarantee u that

Well I never really gurantee anything, nothing is a gurantee. We'll just have to wait til they play to see who performs better. But in my mind consistency has a lot to do with weighing a players quality. If you can hit 50 points one night then 8 for 8 nights then 50 again thats not enough, thats my two cents.

It'll be a good game between the both of em.. I'm really lookin forward to it, since the media hyped up this whole Bron vs Melo thing. I think that Bron will score more points than Melo, but Melo's shooting percentage will be higher than Bron's. The Nuggets will get the win, hands down.
