Cavaliers have offered the No. 1 overall pick, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson to the Timberwolves for Kevin Love: http://tinyurl.com/q7hmbwd

Oh. Snap. The Cavs are pushing hard for a young big man to pair with Kyrie it seems.

Does anyone else feel like that is too much for Love?

I do. That's actually a REALLY nice haul for him. All things considered, he's very injury prone and has yet to prove himself on the highest levels.

I love Love, but that was a nice deal for him.

I'm in the other camp, you throw the entire team + the 1st pick at Minny.

Big fan of Love's game.

Kyrie + Love(Assuming both are healthy and they can get some decent role players) could potentially be top 1-2 team out east for the next 6+ years.

If the cavaliers stay where they are now... Kyrie will be gone as soon as he can.

I see a kevin love trade as not only gaining Love but ensuring Kyrie stays.

True and I applaud Cleveland for recognizing a need and going after it. I just think that their offer was pretty fair, all things considered. A number one pick, a lotto pick, AND two solid young guys? That's a damn good haul.

Well that's a very good offer for Love, I can't see Minny getting a better offer for Love than this.

They first tried to go after LA. Portland refused. Now they're trying to go after Love. They seem very desperate to keep Irving at all costs.

Which they should be. I'm not sure there's many other talented young bigs they can get to pair with him... They might have to aim for a Championship veteran who's expiring...
