Yet he is pretty good, passionate about the game, quick and extremely athletic. Small, but difficult to stop when he's hot. I guess he fits with what we need right now.

We need a guy that can score to minimize Kobe's need to play the entire game. It would be nice to get him 13-15 minutes of game minute rest and not have to worry about putting points on the board.

Nate is a guy that can solve that. Will he every game? No, but when he gets hot, he gets hot. And he did put up 13 and 4 this season and shot 41% from 3.

IMO it's a great addition for a team that has limited options to get better.

also: he's going to command a multi-year deal. I think if howard re-signs, maybe I consider robinson (but he wouldn't be my first choice). if howard leaves, I don't bother for sure.

I'd love to have him on our roster, but we won't be able to afford him

That's my thinking as well. The way he played this post season there's no way he's going to take the vet minimum or our mini-MLE, he wants to get payed.

With how he played late in the season and in the playoffs, he's going to get PAID. He was a great fit for a Roseless Bulls team, but with Rose there is no sense in paying him what he'll command for someone who won't get that much PT.
