Chicago with 2 lottery picks in 2013?

New Orleans owes Chicago its. Number 1 pick in 2013 with no protection. Derrick Rose could potentially miss the entire Season causing Chicago to get another lottery pick. Its thereforetheoretically possible that Chicago could end upwith the top 2 picks in the NBA Draft. Would it better to just shut Rose down for the year? What would itmean to Chicago to add both Shabazz Muhammad and/or Nerlens Noel or Cody zeiller

This actually reminds me, what implications does "lottery protected" have? Does New Orleans have to give another pick if this one's in the lottery? And will that one be lottery protected as well?

Yes, NO will have to give their next first round draft pick, and that will probably have a protection next year of 'top 8 protected'...this goes on for a few years until there is no protection on the pick or the pick lands outside of the procted area.

Sadly it feels like their window closed before it opened.
