...Interesting if true.

Copeland is a good shooter, young, and fairly athletic (?).

He's a 29 year old rookie who played in the D-League/Europe for 5 years before joining the Knicks last season. He averaged 8.7 ppg on 48% shooting from the field and 42% shooting from the three point line in 15.4 minutes per game.

Seems like he is pretty solid... idk if he can come cheap, and be better than Ebanks, sure why not.

He plays for the Knicks. Nothing special, just a solid player. He kinda reminded me of a SF version of Jordan Hill in some ways, and I don't mean the hair, more the way he hustled and they way he moves . He can shoot, from 3 even, not gonna get you a lot of boards, but he's solid. I'm not high on him, but I wouldn't be pissed if we got him cheap as a bench guy, we could do worse (but we could also do better IMO).

Copeland played the 3&4 at times in NY. He is a gritty player. I like him. He didn't make much last year at all. He's probably the most realistic piece we can get due to our financial inflexibility...

He can play, and I'd take him, though If MDA wants to play him as a PF (the famous 'stretch 4') then we could just give Ryan Kelly a shot

Well in that Pacers - Knicks series in the Playoffs he was the only guy off the Knicks bench who came in the game confident and who was actually able to hit shots

loved his game for the Knicks. whenever i watched him play i thought he would be a perfect backup SF for us. hes always active and shoots pretty well and plays with a lot of confidence even though he was a rookie.

Heard he can shoot it, but haven't seen him play really. Interesting, but I'd rather have the other FAs discussed around here...
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

Well Carmelo being my 2nd favorite player after Kobe I watched a lot of Knicks this season, this guy didn't get much playing time but when he did he made the most of it (including a 33pt game) He can shoot the 3 ball & I mean he can really shoot it. He's got size, he's quick, no post game but he's got a jumpshot that would be perfect for this team, he can also drive the ball. But I'm telling you the guy can knock down 3's in a hurry.

Doubt we can get him.. He might get more than the minimum & has said that he would return to the Knicks even if he gets bigger offers.

Only way signing him makes sense is if the FO thinks we may lose Earl Clark. They seem like the same player to me.
