Clippers to Anaheim?

Clippers to Anaheim?

Postby Guest on Thu Sep 18, 2003 8:01 pm

I think Donald Sterling should move the Clippers to Anaheim. Anaheim teams are hot and are putting Anaheim on the map. They got the pond, an awesome arena. I've been to the pond atleast 20 times and each time it get's better and better, they got the whole red vibe goin, it would fit in and they would be out of the shadows of the Lakers like the Ducks and Angels did. The only reason why this aint gonna happen is Sterling, he would never leave the huge market of LA. He knows he wouldn't sell half the amount of merchandise if he moved from LA. Plus, anyone in their right mind would never give up that market. That's just my 2 sense what do you guys think?

The Anaheim Clippers sound pretty good right?

I'd get out of LA if I had to move the Clippers... they'll always be in the shadow of the winning tradition of the Lakers... then again, many people go to Clipper games for fun in LA and not as a true sign of support for the Clipps.

Even if Clips go to Anaheim, im sure that the fans in Anaheim will cheer for the Lakers if they ever play against them there.

Thats true... the only place where they'll be accepted is outside of California... or MAYBE up north with the Queens or Warriors.

All of northern cali is close to each other. Though they might be a couple of hours away, i still consider them close. People in Palm Springs are laker fans, and Palm Springs is about 2 hours away from LA.

If the Clippers decides to move to Anaheim, they migth as well get out of LA. Everyone knows that Southern California will always be the Lakers.

The only thing that the Clippers are good for, is for the Lakers having to play 2 ROAD games a year at the Staples Center.
