wow, now that is funny. I dont understand their signing of polynice tho, they already have zhi zhi wang, melvin ely, and chris wilcox to play the center position. They dont need him.

Kaman, Ely, and Wang are very young. Olden could teach them the ropes of the league, he's a solid veteran...

The Clippers have finally found someone to stop Shaq. We have all heard about the alleged Kobe stoppers, but now there is a Shaq stopper and the Clippers made a smart move and signed him, they are now everyone's pick to win the championship and this center is going to be the MVP. See this is how they are planning on using this new center that they signed, they are going to let him come in the game and when Shaq comes in the lane and sees this 39 year old piece of junk he is going to laugh so hard he is going to be rolling on the floor and they can grab the ball and convert on a fast break.

The clippers lost 2 players that they no longer needed! Miller was a bust, and Kandi Man thot he was too good for the clips. I DIDNT want either of them to come back! And im glad that they matched the offers for brand and maggette! Now all they need to do is get odom back! They have a bright future, with wilcox and ely improving and jaric and dooling still young and improving, they can really make it big in a couple years! I think they have a chance at the playoffs next season now that the jazz are out, but it'll be between the rockets and clippers for #8! Should be interesting!

Odom is gone. And I really don't see Brand and Maggette leading them to the playoffs. Umm yea Odom isnt gone yet, and even if he wanted to leave and go to miami, he is a restricted free agent and the Clippers WANT Odom back! And even without him, the clippers can make the playoffs, cuz then that will open up the gate for Maggette to blossom into a superstar. Its almost like the Tmac/Vince situation, when Tmac was with Vince, Vince was holding him back from becoming a superstar. But as soon as they were on seperate teams, Tmac became a star and left Vince in the dust. Thats how i see Maggette and Odom. Odom's ego and rep held Maggette back. I think the lineup of Wilcox Brand Maggette Richardson and Jaric can get it done, especially with Mike Dunleavy.

How can the Clippers make the playoffs when they have LESS talent than they had last year? Maggette will have a breakout season, but a superstar, please, he will never be a superstar in this league. It is an insult to even mention Maggette's name in the same sentence as T-Mac. They will never make the playoffs with that roster you just named, and that roster probably won't be the roster they will use. This is because Wilcox is a PF and Jaric is a SG.

This is their most likely roster for next season.
Kamen (an undeveloped rookie starting, having to learn as he goes and will get killed against other big men in the west)
Brand (an all star player, but can't lead his team to much of anything, especially the playoffs)
Maggette (will have a very good year, but won't be enough for his team to get anywhere)
Richardson (will have a good season, nothing to brag about, but will get it done)
House (an undersized PG, who's skills are no where close to A. Miller's)

So what you can expect to see from this team is: some excitement, fast breaks, a few win against good teams, an improved game from a few of the players, a well coached game, but you will not see them make the playoffs. They won't be good until they get a superstar, and since players want off that team and not on, I don't see that happening. The players that they have now will leave as soon as they can.

and if they dont make the playoffs, then i will apologize for thinkin otherwise. But i believe if they dont make it, they would be really close to makin it. The only team i see beating them out of this year is the rockets or warriors, but the warriors dont have arenas no more so they might have taken a step back this summer.
