wow...that is surprising, I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas got him, a guy that can hit 3's off the bench means more points for your team, and we all know they like to score points

Can't they just dump Ime, and sign Rice?? We could use his experience in the triangle and his scoring... :man3:

we started this long before the dawn of time, I bet I'll have no trouble to get swol to agree with me: Glen Rice is nothing more than a washed-up old guy who won't help his team because he's way past his prime.

Even read the LA Times today, you'll see the reason with Rice--the Clips have Maggette and Simmons, they don't need Rice and he's out of the rotation--shooting 17% on threes--thats even worse than Kareem! His stats are pathetic this year and his conditioning is a concern--besides the fact that we don't need any more VETS on our team, for godssake--get it over with.

you can be as old and white and it won't matter if you can shoot... ie kyle kover, kiki vanderwagh, bill walton...
i must say rice has one of the best touches and sweetest release!

I say, pass on Rice also. He can't play a lick of 'D' anymore - Phil hates giving PT to guys like that, who really can blame him - and his wife caused nothing but headaches for us while he was on board, remember?...so regarding Glen Rice....thanks, but no thanks, it isn't worth the trouble, even for 10 days. For cryin' out loud we have enough small forwards on our team as it is, plus Rick Fox just got activated too, expect him to gradually start seeing minutes to get ready for the playoffs. Right now, more than anything else, we need a TRUE center down in the paint.....a certain 7-1 center in particular would be nice, if/when he ever decides to come back. No way Ho Grant can keep playing almost 40 minutes a game, he'll croak by the end of February. We need a decent inside presence to throw it down to on the low blocks, so George and Fish (who still cannot create their own shots with any consistency whatsoever) can then get it back and maybe nail some open shots. Surely Shaq realizes this?...don't know if he's trying to prove a point here or something, but maybe Kobe's return will wake him up and force him to get off his butt and give our boys a hand out there. I may have gotten a little off-topic with this, but if he would just forget all his little self-interests and personal agendas and start putting his TEAMMATES first, all this free-agent talk would go away, b/c we'd be winning again - consistently - and some of these other guys could then go back to their normal roles in the triangle offense. As a result we can then concentrate on the rest of the season, then the playoffs and reclaiming what is rightfully ours - the NBA Championship!!!!! :man1:
