DC,"I think with the additions of Jamal and myself, along with the other new faces on the Lakers. And with the old ones we should be able to dominate. I know fans are down that we lost Robert but DC is in town now. I realize I will be playing less min. and off the bench and less $ but I also want a ring."
yeah, neither do I. We need to get young players that will help us in the future and be able to RUN alongside Kobe. Plus, this year our offense is gonna be Showtime-like. We don't need a fat old guy to lag behind.
Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

but who do we have left?
We do need a backup PF/C though I think a more athletic player would be better. Someone who could keep up with Kobe and Payton on the break ... someone who had the quickness to defensively switch off onto a 3 point shooter ... be able to handle playing defense at the perimeter.
I'm not a big fan of DC. Doesn't always seem to be mentally in the game.
