Corey Maggette will not seek a buyout of the remainder of his contract with the Detroit Pistons.

"No, not at all," Maggette said. "I don't even know how it works."

Maggette hasn’t seen game action since Dec. 15.

"I like management here and I'm still able to help the young guys, that's been my MO with this season," Maggette said. "I haven't played, it's part of what happens sometimes. You know me, I've been positive about that. I haven't thought about getting a buyout."

Where's that Dr. Cox "eh" face?

I seriously don't care about this guy. His stamp on this league will be that play where he travels 6 times (without a call), turns the ball over, and then complains at the ref.
Stu : "Yeah, that's an old fashioned whoopin'."

Durant would have as much problems against Maggette as has had with Metta, which is to say SLIM to NONE

He used to be a pretty good player, but washed up now. His whole game was to use his speed and get to the FT line. That's not working anymore. If he developed a postup game, he'd be more effective at his age. He has the body to do some damage in the post if he committed himself.
"Every time he’s hurt, he always plays, he always comes through."
