1st order of business is to get full power of the players and the association together in a concerted effort to roll back Darth's draconian ........................ "flopper" penalties :man10: I'm sure.

And in other news when the Players association went to negotiate it flopped.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I wonder if he shows up at the NBPA meetings as Cliff Paul.

That's rich! Paul was such a dick when Gasol was just being a good sport, a nice guy.

I read on twitter that he wants to battle the NBA on "key issues", and the first 2 mentioned (out of 3) were:
-HGH testing
-flopping fines

He's basically admitting that NBA players want to be able to keep flopping and that some of them (or many of them) are doing HGH or PEDs.. right?

I think Paul as president of the union, assuming he actually does something and isn't all talk, is going to be terrible for NBA basketball.
A guy with his "values", who routinely diminishes the game with his cheating and antics, representing all of the players... terrible.
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

I agree whole-heartedly. I said the same about Lebron being the President. The president of the players Union can't be a superstar player. The majority of players don't live in the upper class so they would be more about the "league" instead of the special treatment crowd. It says alot about the players mind if his first points are HGH and Flopping. SMH.

fisher was perfect for the presidency

if i recall, roger mason jr was a finalist for the position before cp3 got it. that's the kind of player that fits the bill perfectly. a guy who has been in the league for quite some time but isn't a superstar

I don't like this at all, I don't like Paul's sense of entitlement, attitude, philosophy on playing the game (flopping and cheating), and he doesn't represent the type of player I respect and want fighting real NBA issues. He represents the new NBA though, so sadly this is probably what a lot of players want.

Just a little excercise in fun, because this has started my imagination:
What would other NBA players institute if they had become president?
I want to hear "Beat LA" chants at a Clipper vs Laker game

He's here to battle for the superstars. Wade, LeBron, and Paul will lead the charge against flopping restrictions and HGH testing.

Calm down man. The point was about the Superstar being the president. We all know the HGH and FLopping thing was not real.
