It is going to be one of those times when the name recognition alone could potentially land him a spot on a GM stupid enough to try it.

That being said Mobley was always a solid and above average player here in Houston, well liked around the league and nothing really bad to say about the guy, until he signed with the Clippers. :disagree:

he was always a decent player, but i believe he's almost 40 now and why would any team take a chance on him. he last played in the 08-09 season.

plus, didn't he retire due to a heart condition? why would he be fine to play now?

Like the "Senior PGA Tour" the NBA needs a senior league where these one time multi millionaires can still make a little change when their hangers on have run through the money....... instead of polluting the offseason with their "comebacks".
