DeMarcus Cousins returned from his indefinite suspension earlier than the team had expected.

Cousins arrived for a Christmas Eve practice.

"When he apologized to the team, two players stood up and said, 'We've heard this bull[bleep] before,'" the source said. "'You're either going to be with us, or you're not. We don't want to hear any more excuses.'"

The Kings have tried to persuade Cousins to enter counseling.

My guess is it was Garcia and Salmons that spoke up.... Good for them but my guess is that they may buy enough time for Sac to bail on this childish brat....

^I think it's Garcia and Thornton. Salmons seems more laid back and didn't come to the Kings until Cousins 2nd season. Garcia, Thornton, Evans, and Jason Thompson are the 4 players who've been with the Kings since Cousins rookie year and most likely fall into the category of those who's who've seen the "same old bleep" over the last 3 years.

about time the Vets stepped up (I am assuming its the vets that did)
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

It's crazy that it took this long... The King's have a surplus of youthful talent, but at the cost of not having enough veterans in the locker room. Cousins would've been put in his place after a week of playing for a team like the Heat, Lakers, or Boston.

The Kings need to figure something out, Cousins has so much upside it's scary.
His attitude definitely holds him back, but if the right fit/situation happened he would deff. be a force in this league.

Last 4 games since suspension he is averaging
16.5ppg
12.5 rpg
5.8 apg
2.2 spg
