And the Spurs are LAST.

Aren't these inverted standings from last year?!

Who would have ever thought... The Nuggets?? They're just playin extraordinary. Hopefully they can keep it all up. How can SA be dead last behind the Grizzles... That's so shocking. Maybe the Magic can win their 2nd game when they play SA soon.

This probably won't happen, but how funny would it be if the Spurs don't make the playoffs! :man10:

Whoa... that will be a kick in the face to Barkley and to all the other publically known Spurs supporters. It was funny when he said that he'll give the Spurs one more month to clean their act up.

Comon, guys, ya all know that Spurs gonna be OK. Besides - making playoffs doesnt count - look at those Wolves!

The Spurs are not doing good, and I really do not think all will be fine. And what do you mean that making the playoffs does not count? And the Wolves are doing better thean the Spurs.

Look for this trade to guy down(this is just a guess not a prediction, if sals work?):

Spurs get:

Jason Kidd
Collins
2nd rd pick

Nets get:

Tony Parker
Rasho Nesterovic
Turkgalu
Bowen

I believe this may go down 'cuz Kidd said he is not untouchable, and I think someone said he asked to be traded???

Line-ups(if it went down):

NJ:

Nesterovic
K-Mart
Bowen
Kittles
Parker

SA:

Duncan
Rose
Mercer
Manu
Kidd

again this is only what I think should happen

Would you do it?

This would prolly go down as one of tha STUPIDEST trades to ever be pulled by tha nets...givin up kidd and collins for a buncha role players? HELL NO!!!! Kidd is tha Nets superstar, and like tha spurs, theyre in a tailspin too! they'll get out of it, and so will tha spurs...remember tha lakers had their troubles last year too...but they got it together by tha end of tha season right? Im sure tha spurs wont fade that quickly, and its WAY too early in tha season to make assumptions that tha nuggs will make tha playoffs...sorry but lots of teams have key players on tha IL...we dont know whats goin to happen when they get those players back! hell lots of players are PLAYING injured or playin with new guys! We're only what 20 games into tha season? We still got another 62 to go here! U never know what can happen in tha NBA! look at seattle, yea they started off pretty damn good...but what happened? They will start to slide...same with tha nuggs and jazz...they may be doin good right now...but they are winning their home games....what happens when u send them on tha road? Denver is jus 4-5 on tha road, and 8-1 at home...UTAH is 1-6 on tha road and 9-1 at home! Once these teams go on tha road, they'll be exposed...they are not THAT good...they will hit tha wall sometime durin tha season i GUARANTEE that!

And dont count Minny out yet, they have some injuries right now and chemistry problems, once they get wally and hudson back, they'll have a stronger bench and a stronger lineup...They will get it together, especially with garnett barkin down their throats...

Minnesota, Phoenix, Portland, San Antonio and even the LA Clippers will all get it together sometime down tha road...The Nuggs, Jazz, and Sonics will dissipate durin tha course of this season

Next year the Hornets will be in that division.

South West:
Spurs
Mavs
Rockets
Hornets
Nuggets

Something crazy like that.

The reason for their success this year is obvious, Carmelo Anthony. He has surprised a lot of people with his ability to score and he has been playing quite well. The race for ROY is a close one, both Melo and Lebron are playing great basketball this year. But if Melo continues to help his team win and make the playoffs, something they haven't' done since they had Deke (if I'm not mistaken) then he will for sure get the award.
If you haven't been keeping up with Carmelo this year, then here are his numbers:

    10/29-
Carmelo scored 12 points and grabbed 7 boards in his first NBA game.

    10/30-
He scored 18 points and had 9 rebounds

    11/1-
    He had 23 points

    11/4-
    He only scored 2 points

    11/5-
    He put in 14 points

    11/7-
    Carmelo scored a season-high 30 points

    11/9-
    Anthony had 19 points

    11/10-
    26 points and 8 rebounds

    11/14-
    17 points and a season-high 14 rebounds

    11/18-
    10 points & 9 rebounds

    11/19-
    13 points and 11 rebounds

    11/21-
    23 points and a season-high 7 assists

    11/22-
    16 points & 10 rebounds

    11/25-
    17 points & 7 boards

    11/28-
    26 points

    11/29-
    12 points & 10 rebounds

    12/2-
    26 points

    12/3-
    26 points

    12/5-
    28 points and 7 rebounds

In case you were wonder, here is who the Nuggets played on those nights, and the results of the games:

    Oct 29 SAS W 80-72

    Oct 30 @ HOU L 85-102

    Nov 1 SAC W 109-88

    Nov 4 @ IND L 60-71

    Nov 5 @ CLE W 93-89

    Nov 7 LAC L 102-104

    Nov 9 @ TOR L 76-89

    Nov 10 @ CHI W 105-97

    Nov 14 ORL W 106-101

    Nov 18 @ MIN L 76-89

    Nov 19 MIL W 94-86

That's just proof of how the Clippers can ruin someone's career. I'm glad he got out of there as soon as he could.

The Midwest is ridiculous this year and next year they are adding one of the best Leastern teams. Even the Jazz and the Grizzlies are good. The worst team in the division would easily make the playoffs in the East. They might as well make the East a development league. The East didn't even get the best rookie this year. Melo plays like a vet.

The Spurs are in trouble. Nessie is a flop and Miller is an all-star.
