my opinion is weird becuase I dont think he deserves the MAX, but the Nets will regret it if they let him walk

its kinda hard to tell right now cuz hes not getting starter minutes yet 38-40

i really think he can be a 20-10 player pretty easily but well see

Thats more money than Elton Brand makes, and Elton is by far a better player...

I say dont let Martin go, but if you let Martin walk, send Mutumbo with him, and if they end up doing this Wallace and Patterson/Sabonis deal, they would get ALOT in return for this season, then they can prolly do a sign and trade with Minny and get Garnett, so minny will still get somethin in return.

And elton brand is NOT better than Martin, they are about the same, but i can see Martin being the better player down the road cuz hes been to the finals twice in his 3 year NBA career!

Martins an energy player and could really help out a team and step up every night. he had 35 points last year in the finals too.

The day Martin goes to the blazers is the day his NBA career is officially OVER bcuz whoever goes to Portland will jus get lost in that over talented bench of theirs and find themselves complaining all the time...

if NJ can re-sign Kidd, get Mourning, and trade for Wallace all in one summer, they've got to be one of the luckiest teams in the NBA...bcuz they still have RJ improving and they can really contend with the powers of the west, with a huge front line (Mourning, Wallace, Collins, Williams) and a great backcourt (Kidd, Kittles and Jefferson)

I really like NJ's chances of reaching the finals once again this season, out of all the teams in the east, the nets have made all the right moves and if they get Wallace for Martin AND manage to get rid of useless Mutumbo, and get patterson too, they would have definetly upgraded their roster
