Hes gonna play better in Houston because less pressure, better fit of a team. But its just for 2013/2014. After that I dont know. I dont think theyre a title contender but they are gonna be a pretty good team.

It's not Meeks' instagram, he tweeted confirming it wasn't his.

JVG has always been one of the realest dudes in basketball.

Edit: So fitting that Dwight is bricking FTs badly throughout JVG's rant, and yes, if you're wondering, he did brick the two FTs he had at the end of the video that weren't shown as well.

Depending on how short they fall of winning a championship in the next two seasons, Houston might gave to consider trading him at the deadline in his third season there.

The Dwightmare Pt 3 seems to already have been approved and scheduled to begin production.

So he can't even decide to be with a team now for more than 3 years.....

He'll put up numbers and he'll look good doing it... but if that team challenges for a "Chip" it won't be because of him.

I can't wait for the first 5 game losing streak on that team to see who snaps first.... Hardin or Howard....

i can see him having a monster year mainly because he won't be under nearly as much pressure as he was in LA

with that said, i can't wait for the rockets to feel the dwightmare. they're in for quite the ride

For all the Lakers PR about Dwight, I firmly believe that behind the scenes they knew he was 1). Leaving 2.) Not their guy to lead this Great Franchise into the Promise Land. And you know what? That's fine. You would rather find this out now then have him sign a contract and give you a colossal headache for the next 5 years.

I guess that this might have been a possibility. The mixed message they sent Dwight was quite confusing and I mentioned that here many times. Perhaps they weren't sold on him . . . but I guess if they weren't why didn't they pursue sign and trade with Golden State? Just because they were division rivals? Maybe they thought that letting him go to the Rockets who are kind of weak even with him, was better than making GS a possible contender even if they gave us the best pieces in return for him? Well, we'll never know. Good bye Dwight. I won't look back fondly at this time at all. This was a bad stretch in Lakerdom. Bad luck to you and I hope you suck in Houston with Beard, Frankenstein and the rest.

^ If Dwight wanted to go to Golden State, I think the Lakers would have been more amiable to a sign and trade. But he left to Houston which is a worse team, with more limitations, and it's proof that he's NOT about winning.

If he'd gone to Golden State they'd probably be a contender RIGHT NOW. In Houston he'll be lucky if they're a contender by 2015.

“It was on the Fourth of July,” Howard said. “That’s when I felt it was Houston. I was in Colorado. It seemed like every person that I met was from Houston. It was just so ironic. I’d walk around. Someone would ask for a picture. They’d give me a business card and it would say Houston on it. I was like, “Is everybody in Colorado from Houston right now?’ It was unbelievable.

“I was like, ‘You know what, this has to be from God.’ You pray for things to happen. You pray for signs, for God to show you things. It just seemed like, this was it.”

Yes, Dwight. God ignored the sick, diseased, and needy just so he could tell you which million dollar contract you should take. He did this buy magically guiding people from Houston into Colorado to give you a sign.

What a narcissistic idiot.

Three points to note:
- I, I, I, I.... Oh, it's about you alright, Dwight. In that Q & A, a quick skim over, and "I" can be seen many times

- When somebody has the gifted physical abilities that Dwight has, it shouldn't be difficult for scouts/people to notice you and give you an opportunity. Don't make it sound like growing up in a small school in Atlanta entitles you to be called a "winner" because you made it to the NBA. Kobe would probably laugh at that "Oh, I made it to the NBA now, I'm a winner!!!@!"

- Houston is a great opportunity for you to have fun, not win. You want a great opportunity to win? Take even less money and join an actual contender, that shows people that you want to win.

Edit: I hope his FT % continues to plummet. Each year his FT% has continued to go down and I hope that trend continues.

It's God talk like this that justifies atheists crapping on religion the way they do. You can't be pounding females and pop out children in every state in the union and spew God talk and make it credible. Moron.

Again, there is two things at work with Dwight. All hate aside the guy is a talent physically and defensively. His game has been solely on his physical prowess. He may very well improve his post moves working with Dream and Kevin. However, his touch and court vision have not been so great and not likely to get that way in my opinion. The biggest problem he has is he does not have the heart or will to be the #1 guy. Yes, in Orlando he was the big stat man but when they won it was because Hedu, Lewis and Nelson coming up big. As much as I talk about Lebron not having much heart he at the very least understands he is, no has to be, the number 1 player on his team. No one knows if Dwight will fail or not but at this point it is hard to see how he, as the man, can lead his team to a ring.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Wow, if that was a real turning point for Howard when making his decision that almost makes me feel better about him leaving. Can't have a franchise player that's so ... childish and would make a giant decision based on random, mundane occurrences.
There's always the possibility that it's all made up and he just wants to go with that story and not say something bad about us or keep repeating the same thing about Houston. Idk
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

So now it was a sign from God and not a decision based on which team would give him the best chance to win? I guess that makes sense because if it was the latter he'd pick the Ws.

Honestly speaking if Dwight and harden are your core veteran guys houston has ZERO chance of winning anything...Dwight is a mental midget. He had an opportunity to play with great talent and win a title and he is crying becuase kobe isn't his best buddy. He is crying becuase of D"antoni's system.

Dude if you are a franchise center it doesn't matter. Shaq played with dantoni when they were a legitimate run and gun and he was fine. Kobe played with the triangle and adapted. Dwight good luck and good riddance. Kobe will be dunking on you again next season.
