to be honest I don't think it said a great deal. Kaman defended Howard to one side instead of straight up which Dwight was able to spin on him. I think it was a bad defensive choice on a one-deminsional player. Unfortunately that seems to be the choice of our defense to play a player to one side. Most of Dwights points came off of clearouts against Kaman though again something he couldnt do when he was with LA. Most importantly I didn't think Kaman was into the game at all like most of the guys on the team against Hou.

I was just implying that Kaman was playing really, really, really bad post defense on Howard. :man10:

Sacre did a more respectable job.

And I agree with both statements. I actually thought Sacre should of started against crybaby

I really like Sacre. I honestly think with the right pieces he could start for your team. Or at least be a reliable first big man off the bench.

If Chris Andersen can do it, why can't Rob?

I really do think Sacre has some upside. He just has to learn to settle it down when he gets the ball. I'd keep him for the cheap for sure.

athleticism is the answer. sacre can't deter at the rim on defense or finish at the rim on offense. to me, this means he's third string, all the way. maybe a backup if your starter is like, the best c in the league and plays heavy minutes.

if this thread's namesake had sacre's attitude and grit, he'd be an all-time great. unfortunately, being an otherworldly athlete is worth more than many things in today's nba.

You might be right about Sacre. I don't think I'd be comfortable with him as the starting Center on a great team. I wouldn't be uncomfortable, but certainly I would want more.

@ puffy- I'm with you. I like Sacre a lot. I'm all for keeping him around on this team. Good locker room guy, he's shown a little growth the last couple years, and who doesn't love a 7 footer that lays hard fouls in the paint?

The only good thing Dwight has going for him, is that he will never suffer a brain injury.

Oooooooooo........ burn....

The worst injury he could suffer would be one to the camera men at the game.....

Good thing they have Asik cause he wants to play the game instead of having fun.

It looks like ESPN/Sportmedia have now jumped on the Coward bandwagon. They have been on the Hou is a championship team kick becuase Hou has surrounded Howard with shooters like his Orlando days. I can't wait to see these guys fall on their faces in the playoffs especially when Manufactu-star cracks in the playoffs again

the media has been trying to rev up the howard support machine since he bolted the lakers in FA, making him a folk hero to the blogger nerds like abbott. the fact that he joined their king in Houston only made it more delightful. you can bet they're going to really hammer on the redemption story line if Houston manages to get a lucky draw and advance in the playoffs. howard will suddenly have "matured" and "learned to take responsibility" and the like.

in truth, the dude hasn't changed a bit; he's just once again surrounded by yes-men and teammates that don't have the stature to stand up to him. but you know, it's fun.
