Except if he stayed here in a couple seasons the Lakers are able to make runs at REAL number one options like LeBron and Durant. Does he waste a couple seasons? No, because he learns from the Lakers (Kobe, Nash, Pau, and past legends like Kareem and Worthy). Better than what he gets in Houston which is 17 year old girls and strip clubs.

Howard is not just an idiot, but an immature coward. I don't give a **** what someone has to say about my Laker fandom in regards to Howard. That's the God's honest truth no matter what team I root for.

In hindsight, it may have been the best that he left. He has reached his ceiling and he truly is a mental midget because he can't adapt and rid himself of old habits.

In regards to learning, Howard has been given a year to work with Hakeem year-round and Hakeem said that he tends to revert back to what he did before demonstrating that he can't apply what he's learned consistently without bad habits creeping back in.

I just meant in an ideal world. In reality Dwight couldn't do any of those things.

Oh it gets better.

"We have myself and James," Howard said. "We have the best center and the best two guard in the game on the same team. It's on us."

This the same clown everyone here wanted two, years ago...... He was tossing people, coaches GMs and anyone else under the bus back then in his alternate reality.

Nothing different here.

Wow, I thought he was gonna come out later and say that first quote was taken out of context but then he follows it up with that delusional comment. Way to kick the guy that "recruited" him to Hou in the balls on the way out.

Only way I see this D-bag winning a championship is at the end of his career when he takes a vet min on a contending team as a 2nd string C.

Now that their whipping boy (Lin) is gone and their one true gritty player (Parsons) is gone it is only a matter of time before Howard and Harden start going at each other. its gonna be fun.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Honestly, as bad as we are, I wouldn't trade our team with Houston's. If Harden and Dwight were locked up here on long term deals I would probably go on a hiatus as a fan. I hate those guys that much.

But for real though, it's hilarious how overconfident Dwight is. I remember when having the best C/SG combo in the league actually meant something. Oh yeah, Kobe and Shaq single handedly dismantled the league with a few role players for 3 years straight. No big 3 nonsense at all. That's what happens when you wear your gnarly boots on a nightly basis and don't predicate your game on scamming the refs for fouls. You would think those two clowns would try to model their games after Kobe/Shaq. You would think that, but who is going to bang all those high school chicks, and strippers?

I disliked Howard that much before he got here..... and I stuck around... I was cynical as hell... but I stayed.

Hey.... I even would have stayed if CP3 had made through the commissioner's office to the Lakers... and Melo as well.

If you're a fan.... you're a fan.

How 'bout this gem from his teammate:

“Dwight (Howard) and I are the cornerstones of the Rockets,” said Harden. “The rest of the guys are role players or pieces that complete our team. We’ve lost some pieces and added some pieces. I think we’ll be fine next season.”

You have to just be waiting for when Clown has seen 10 too many of those stupid, stupid looks on Beard's face after he completely loses sight of his man cutting behind him for the pass and dunk near Clown. Then it's "on" as Lin won't be there to blame it on.

Very much this. For me in recent years used to be Celtics with snarling, foul mouthed, cheap shot KG and rest of them, then after the "Decision" and the "Not one, not two, not 3", …..circus and dirty play of Wade, of course the Heat.

But these two A-holes on the Rockets jumped the shark last year with their disgusting treatment of Jeremy Lin and in setting up that clique and making sure the team in general was crappy to him. And their ridiculous egos and proclamations now when THEY have never won jack s*** despite both having been key players in past situations where it was possible to do so.

You wonder how the rest of the entire team likes hearing these two jerks already calling them nothing more than cogs and pieces and being expendable and interchangeable because of Clown and Beard's greatness.
