Yeah I just don't like Brooklyn... I don't like them at all.

Let's go Chicago.

To me this is a toss-up. Thibs knows how to get his team locked in. Brooklyn have the flash, Chicago has the grit. Bulls in six.

Season series: 3-1, Bulls.

All games were within a few points except for the Chicago win in March.

This is one of the trickier series for me to predict. The Nets appear to have the better talent but the Bulls seem like a better overall team. I'll go Bulls in 6.

I want the Bulls to take it, and hopefully Rose returns for the second round vs Miami
That'd be cool

Bulls in 6 thanks to defense. In the playoffs where slow down ball commences, the way Chicago plays will win out.

I've been rooting for the Bulls in the East playoffs for years, since the early Ben Gordon/Hinrich days. They were just fun to watch, always the underdog but gave us exciting series'. The 2009 first round series Between the Bulls and Celtics was one of the best and most exciting playoff series I've ever seen. I do not like the Nets, they bore me, I will continue to root for the Bulls and Knicks in the East.

This is easily my least favorite matchup in the East. Two teams who won't advance past the second round, especially Chicago without Rose. I'll take Chicago in an easy 6. Their defense and team play will create 4th quarter surges which will make all the difference. These games will be close until the final 8 minutes. Deron and Joe are smart good players. But the rest of Brooklyn has a low basketball I.Q. It'll show when it means the most.

Did I miss something and Rose has been declared out for the whole season or is he still waiting until he's mentally right go out there again to give them something this year? Meaning he could play at any time or 2nd round or ?? Or was there a set back?

He's cleared to play for some time now... but it's all in his head, dude is scared so far. He'll be back about the same time as Kobe :man9:

Not my knee but having been spoiled by Kobe and what I'm sure we'll see from him with this recovery from the achilles, you would think now that they are in it for all the marbles he would throttle his game back enough to go out there and give them something. If he is medically cleared. 70% playing on the ground and conservatively would sure be better than nothing. Again, not my knee.

Deron really looked great in the first half (i only watched until halftime), much more like his usual, Utah self. Nice to see, dude was always one of my favorites

Brooklyn looks pretty good. I think they'll beat Chicago in 6.

I also think they have enough size with Lopez to give Miami some problems inside. Miami won't sweep the Nets, probably it will take 5-6 games.
