How about 8 points allowed in the 4th?! Haha that's what we need to do when the offense isn't all there, especially in the playoffs when you can't win by outscoring the other side. 3 more to go :jam2:

Weird game.. Knicks wound up winning it with D.
Boston's bench production was atrocious

I just love Jason Kidd. What he brings to a team can't really be simplified in a box score. He's a great leader on both ends, provides stability, and the dude just makes plays. He gets strips, hits a timely 3 here and there, orchestrates the O, rotates on D..
IMO a top 5 PG all-time (magic-big O-stockton-isiah-kidd)
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

Didn't watch the game, but was it actually a case of NY playing lockdown D or was it the celtics falling apart because of age and frustration again?

Both. The Knicks really turned it up in the 4th, and the Celtics couldn't match the intensity or hustle. They pretty much let up at the end and the Knicks capitalized on every opportunity.

These Knicks have 2011 Mavs capability. JR Smith a little wild though hopefully Kidd tells him to tone it down

8 points in the 4th quarter in Game 1 , less than 20% shooting in the 2nd half of Game 2 ... Loston is done

I truly believe they are just too old and don't have enough talent to beat us. They have also been getting killed in the second half. I would love a sweep in Boston.

it will tougher at TD Banknorth or whatever the hell the place is named... Cockroaches are difficult to get rid of. I expect a knockdown, drag it out fight. Knicks win Game 3 and it will all but deflate them. Game 4 will either be their last gasp or a mere formality for them to mop it up at The Garden in the next one.

Well since Lakers suck...at least the Knicks are fun to watch...I sincerely hope they sweep the Celtics. They are the only team in the East that could potentially challenge the Heat. Knicks/Pacers is gonna be sick in the 2nd round though. Paul George vs Carmelo Anthony?

He had a decent game in Game 2 but gotta say, he's been a huge letdown for Boston. I just don't think he has that same drive as he did in Dallas, and that's honestly understandable to me. He's been getting a lot of good looks, but he isn't not knocking them down nearly enough for the role he has to play on that team.

Terry has been a pretty big flop for them. Honestly I think that might be in part because they really overloaded on the perimeter. They tried to replace Allen by committee and instead they had too many guys, not enough minutes, and no set roles like they used to have. And even when they tried to commit those roles, they realized the players they had weren't quite up for the task.
