Bring out the brooms. One of the only consolations of this season is the Celtics are also an irrelevant 7th seed, but unlike us they don't have even close to the same injury excuse. They still have Garnett, Pierce, Green, Terry, Bradley and Bass.

It's looking like it'll be a sweep. In the words of the great Chick Hearn, "This game's in the refrigerator: the door is closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jell-O's jigglin'!"

Very true. I'll take my jollies where I can get them at this point - and this series is providing 'em for me!

Hard to believe Mike Woodson used to coach the Hawks.

He couldn't get past Boston with the Hawks but the Knicks he looks like he can course the Celtics are senior citizens at this point compared to before and well losing Ray Allen really does hurt.

ESPN just said KG and Pierce hid for an hour after the game so they could dodge the media scrutiny.

Off topic but I read an article that JR Smith father said his son turned off a better offer from the Lakers to come back to NY last summer

Well I know for sure that he could've easily gotten more money somewhere else, but he took the small deal because he wanted to play in NY. He will definitely opt out, though, this off season and cash in on his fantastic year.

I dont think Rondo would've made a difference in this series, the Knicks are just a really really bad matchup for this old Boston team. Hope the Knicks can go all the way now that the Lakers are out

So JR Smith is suspended for Game 4 tomorrow for throwing an elbow at Jason Terry....16 hours before Game 4. Not a big deal or anything.....

Good game, can't believe Knicks fought back to get it to OT, hope they can pull it off, but they're down 3 here.

Carmelo Anthony 10-for-35 from field. Last player to take 35+ shots in playoff game, make 10 or fewer- Michael Jordan, 1997 (9-35)

In this series so far, Melo 110 shots taken, 4 assists. Damn

What's the purpose of going iso after iso down the stretch and to have your star player jacking up shot one after the other , especially when he's bricking everything ?

NY would have won this game in regulation if they had involved Felton more ...

well it's not like we haven't seen dozens of time with the Lakers but how can a coach be fine with this ?
As one of the other 4 players on the floor you have to feel useless and want to punch your star teammate
