I was begging for LeBron to take those final shots. You could see in his body language...similar to his Cleveland days, when he just didn't look like he had confidence in himself. He just looked rattled down the stretch, and air-balling that 5-footer confirmed it for me.

Drafted 1st round 30th pick by the Bulls, damn a good pick up for them.

Nate Robinson - $1.2m
Marco Bellinelli - $1.9m
Taj Gibson - $2.1m
Jimmy Butler - $1m

Damn this Bulls team role players are so cheap. :man5:

Dont have to be clutch to be great. Duncan, Shaq, Wilt,. Clutch isnt something betowed to every great player.

Is it bad that I'm rooting for the smaller teams to make it to the finals? I so desperately want to see a Carmelo LeBron conference finals and a Kevind Durant/LeBron finals but I won't be mad seeing these smaller teams make it. What series it would be.

Not saying he's not great, only that people are projecting all these accomplishments for him that he still has to go out and actually do. Don't call a guy almost at MJ's level after one title is what I'm saying, let his career actually play out first, you never know what's going to happen the next 8 years or so.

I want to see Pacers v. Grizz in the Finals, yes I sound like a broken record.

I would actually love to see the Grizzlies in the finals. I don't care that much who faces them from the East. Except Miami. I wish them all the worst, thank you.

Man, if the Bulls could only get Deng back... DANG!

Just got off work and went to NBA.com to see the Heat lost?!?! WTF lol.

Anyone care to explain what happened, I was only able to watch the 1st quarter before it got busy, saw the Heat looking crappy thought they would just turn it on.

Nate Robinson + Jimmy Butler + Team Defense

Too much for the fully healthy Heat.

Tom Thibodeau = f'n good coach. The analysts can use "rust" as the Miami excuse for this but Thibs is running with pretty much a less than 100% roster... AND ARE COMPETING EVERY GAME!

Wait..... Did they say the "OMG greatest team ever" Miami Heat didn't play well because of "rust"? I am sure that all the pundits told me on all the shows that the great one does not allow his team to take nights off or have down games. weird.

Really what people don't ever talk about is that Chris Bosh is the reason the Heat won last year and if he is going to be out the Heat team will have issues, big issues.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Great, great, game. I still think Miami will win the series; however, the Bulls made it interesting after tonight. This will be more competitive then I originally thought.

^^ Amazing. Chi playing definitely reflects their coaching - they are tough as nails. Incredible that they are missing so many of their starters and they just stuck it to the CHEAT. Great stuff.

Talk about winning with pure hustle and heart, with superior coaching and inferior talents. The effort of this Bulls team plays with is just unmatched.

I believe Miami will win as well, they'll continue to run the ball through LeBron because no one on the Bulls team can stay in front of him. However I hope Chicago make it a competitive series and take it to 7 games, would be amazing if they win the entire series but they're undermanned and it's gonna play against them sooner or later.

Thibs is such a great coach, it's ridiculous. Bulls play together, they all buy into the concept and play their butts off on D. That's damn impressive with the injuries they've had. Thibs for MDA...let's do it Mitch!

Nate hit some big shots down the stretch. No clue how there were whispers that they were thinking of letting him go this season.

Love seeing the Bulls shock the CHEAT and swing first. Should be a good series.

Surprise surprise........ Is it a wake-up call or trouble for Miami? Something tells me that they will not be so complacent next game. Bron-Bron had a 2010 flash back there down the stretch as well.

You know what I want to see is a Chicago/Memphis finals. Two teams tough as nails, well-respected, and deserving of every shot they can get at the championship.

^A Chicago/Memphis finals would probably be the least infuriating non-Lakers finals. I doubt stern lets that happen though. Expect the refs in full force next game.

The "rust" excuse was used in our favor when we lost to the 76ers in Game 1 of the 2001 Finals. We beat them 4 straight.

Could it apply in this case as well? Sure. But we'll see what happens.
