Rebounders: Nate Thurmond needs to be on there again as does the Big E. Malone, Russell, Wilt, Gilmore, Malone (K) and Walt Bellamy should be the front runners I'd say.

Rebounding is a tough one because of the changes in the offensive games during the early 70's. The most impressive rebounders I can remember were Rodman, Elvin Hayes and Artis Gilmore. I didn't see most of the "old" guys. Kareem, before he played with a guard that got 8 boards a game, was always among the statistical best rebounders as well. What Rodman did for a few year stretch was pretty amazing IMO and Elvin Hayes was probably the most consistent rebounder I saw.

Rebounders -
Agree with Roos on Nate and Walt, but I'd add that by far the best glass man I ever saw was Jerry Lucas. And I caught him at the 'down' side of his career when he was in his 30's and ONLY getting around 15 rpg.

In addition to the standards, Wilt, Pettit and Russell, Lucas to me was the most consistently dominant.

Add to the list George McGinnis too. Beast in the 70's.

Modern day, really only Rodman and Dwight stack up to those old legends. Barkley, for his height, was always very impressive.

McGinnis!.... how could I forget him.... He was Karl Malone before Karl Malone.... One of the overlooked greats of the "lost 70's"....
