Eric Gordon 'Very Available' In Trade Talks

Some poster said we should move for him and I'm trying to think of a scenario where I agree...

Maybe Pau/Artest for Gordon/Pick #6/Anderson/Lopez

That might do it?... Anderson/Lopez would be nice. Pick #6 could get us a solid guy... Then maybe one day we can get rid of Gordon? :man10:

I don't know. Does this trade help us keep Dwight?

doubt the lakers could get the 6 in addition to Anderson/Gordon for pau/mwp.

if it were just Anderson/Gordon, i'd have to be absolutely certain that howard would stay before doing it.

if he did (dwill/joe Johnson trade situation), I think you could argue the resulting roster would be much more suited to both Dwight and dantoni. kobe would shift to the sf (may be necessary anyway). lots of shooters on the floor around Dwight, three legit playmakers in the starting five. use the mle to get an athletic backup sf, and you're tough team, imo.

but again, wouldn't sacrifice flexibility unless I knew for sure that Dwight was staying.

I really have zero interest in Gordon. He's injury prone, overrated, and I wouldn't even give up Pau for him.

True, but Pau expires next summer... Gordon doesn't come off the books until 2016. Well it's a player optioned season, but there's no way a walking injury like him opts out.
