Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

Derek Fisher is back. Again.

According to a league source close to the situation, the Thunder are re-signing guard Derek Fisher to a one-year deal. His contract is expected to be at the veteran minimum.

For Fisher, this will be his third stint in Oklahoma City. Both times he signed midway through the season. Last year, he played 20 regular season games with the Thunder.

You may be asking yourself how this impacts the Thunder’s free agency plans, specifically with Mike Miller. A person close to the team says Fisher has been committed to the Thunder for almost a month now, meaning that they’ve been negotiating with Miller with the expectation Fisher is already on the roster. Fisher’s addition places the team at the 15-man limit, meaning if Miller signs, OKC will have to waive someone.

Fisher, 38, averaged 4.1 points in 14.4 minutes last season with the Thunder.

I find it interesting how he continues to find employment.

He's a 3rd string PG. now. I think OKC re-signed him cause he pumps them up with his great speeches.

Well I didnt follow him too closely but it seems like he closed the season better this year than last, but Im not sure I would have given him a roster spot.

Good for him. He can ride the pine there for one more year and then pull a Jason Kidd and take MDA's job from him.

Apparently this will be his final season.

I wonder if he'll have a farewell tour like Kareem did...or maybe not.

Off topic but noticing Fish in this pic with the leggings. A number of guys were wearing them this year. So when did Darth decide to let the players have them again after banning them after Kobe started the trend?

HA! Whatever happened to Bulldogger. He had Fish in his grave with no value to a good team over 2 years ago.

That was a vintage Derek Fisher performance against the Heat the other night. Still love watching that D Fish killing it :jam2:
