Fisher Replaces Payton In 989 Sports Skills Challenge

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 14 – Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher replaces Laker teammate Gary Payton (personal reasons) in the 989 Sports Skills Challenge. The competition is held on All-Star Saturday Night presented by America Online, February 14 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Fisher will win it, he has the greatest stroke among Point Guards, and teh rest any point guard can do, I think he'll win it.

I hope you are joking. Fisher may have a great stroke, but he is just coming out of a slump. And he lacks the speed that the rest of them have. They will run circles around him. I think he will get dead last.

actually I am, but I am also realistic. Even though I love the Lakers, I don't think every Laker will win whatever he is in, just because he is a Laker.

I honestly don't see how Fisher could beat Marbury (a top 3 pg right now), Davis (best scoring pg this year), and Boykins (one of the fastest pg's)
