How do you think the 2012/2013 Utah Jazz will do?

I dont like the Jazz as an organization but they've built a very nice promising squad. How do you think a roster of these players will do?

C Al Jefferson/Enes Kanter
PF Paul Millsap/Derrick Favors
SF Gordon Hayward/Marvin Williams
SG Randy Foye/Alec Burks
PG Mo Williams/Earl Watson

Other players on the team: Jamal Tinsley, Jeremy Evans (he was in the dunk contest )and Raja Bell

they have skilled bigs who can score, defend and rebound...albeit young with a nice group of heady veterans like Mo Williams, Foye and Millsap

Last year they bowed out in the 1st round but they've made lots of upgrade, Mo Williams over Devin Harris, Randy Foye over CJ Miles. Favors by far has the most potential of the young guys on that team. Not sure about Corbin as a coach but they played hard for him last year. I think guys like Millsap, Jefferson and Mo Williams will be highly motivated since its their contract year.

If they're in the 6 or 7 seed and if they get hot I can see them taking out OKC or San Antonio...kind of like Memphis of 2011

What do you guys think?

All I know is that Burks should be starting over that scrub Foye.

Forsure I like him but their starters have so many scorers across the board I think it will balance out having Foye as the 2 guard who just primiarly checks the other team's scorer and Burks comes off the bench and becomes the 1st scoring option on that team. I really like how this squad is put together. Not sure what their future will be moving forward since Mo Williams, Jefferson and Millsap are in their contract years

They need to dump Jefferson's contract, and as much as I've always liked Millsap's game, Favors is legit (especially defensively) and needs room to grow. They have a solid frontcourt on paper, but the fact that you can only play five guys at a time means that some of their bigs need to go. Jefferson is useless, and I have to think that Millsap would pout if he were relegated to the 6th man role the way he was when Boozer was still there. If it were up to me, I'd start Favors/Kanter up front, bring in Millsap off the bench and find a way to dump Al Jeff for a defensive 5, of course that's easier said than done.

Their team looks good, but so do the other 7-8 seeds out there: Phoenix and Minnesota.

A healthy Rubio and Love will make the playoffs.

Middle of the pack team, bunch of good to really good players, but no real star.

They won't suck, but still, this is the West and not sucking is not enough to make the Playoffs. You gotta be very good to make the Playoffs in the West and they're just good.

They aren't a play-off team.

Honestly, I'm not sure either off-season move you mentioned was an upgrade. They have some very good, young pieces. But they still have a long way to go in maturing and developing. My guess is 10th seed.

I like what Mo brings to the table over Devin Harris, Mo on his contract year can be deadly. They're just a little raw but I think they can be a middling playoff team like the Memphis Grizzlies

He just needs a pimp and he's set for a career away from the NBA.

The have a decent core and some good youth.... if things fall in place they could surprise.

The West got stronger at the top (Lakers) but just about everyone of the other top teams either didn't improve or have gotten older so it will be interesting to see what happens.

They'll miss the playoffs. If LA comes back for Portland, plus their two lotto picks, they're gonna be dangerous once again. Minnesota is also in the hunt as everyone said. Phoenix could surprise with Dragic and Marshall taking over PG duties, plus they added Luis Scola.

If Enes Kanter is really that good, they could trade Jefferson for some nice pieces and keep Millsap.
