Funny how quickly I went from preparing to hate that team to now wanting to cheer for them. Love the move now :man10: , that move was classic Logo

Biedrins, Jefferson, Rush, Two First Rounders, Two Second Rounders, having to relinquish Jack and Landry.

Seems like a lot for just Iggy. Still a great trade to lift GS to immediate championship contention, but I feel like that's a lot to give up for just Iggy since it didn't also lead to Dwight.

Wasn't aware that all of those draft picks were included. It's still an OK deal, the big loss is Landry. I thought Jack wasn't going to resign with them to begin with, he's looking for a payday. The other three players can be replaced.

I like the deal less with those picks included obviously... but a core of Curry/Barnes/Klay/Iggy/Lee/Bogut is still quite nice. They can still make moves with either Lee or Bogut too. As for us, we're SOL aren't we?

They should look to move Lee contract for some backups and cap flexibility ... as they can play and should play small ball with Barnes at the 4 ... if not Iggy taking minutes away from Klay/Barnes isn't the best idea

^ couldn't they do the same (play small ball as you called it) with Lee at the 5? I mean, for stretches

no Lee is so horrible defensively ... GS needs a solid backup center ( better than Ezeli) because Bogut health is so fragile.

Damn, how could Warriors able to clear Jefferson and Biedrins salary dump to Utah in order to sign Iguodala.

Jerry West is scary. :man5:

West giving up draft picks for stars. Bringing in his traditional Laker strategy.

So now that it's clear Dwight is coward and he f***ed over Golden State and the Lakers...

What do the Warriors do with Barnes/Klay? One of them is now out of place with Iguodala on an expensive long-term contract. Probably Barnes.

What do they do with him now?

^Great point. One of them is expendable. We don't have anything to offer them, though. I have a feeling they end up trading Barnes.

I'm not sure. I think they hold on to him this season and just try to stack their perimeter. The problem is that Barnes is on a rookie contract so he can't get the right return financially right now.

Barnes won't be RFA before 2016-2017 , Klay in 2015-2016 , Lee is expring in 2015-2016 ... if they can't dump Lee contract or pay the tax for one season , they won't reup Klay ...

The playoffs show GS don't really need Lee and play Barnes at the PF significant minutes ... regardless of this argument , they are not getting rid of Barnes who will be a better play than Klay in no time

I see no reason why Iggy, Klay, and Barnes can't play together. Iggy is a lock down defender, and brings offensive versatility to the team. I can even see them playing a lot of small ball with Curry, Klay, Iggy, and Barnes on the floor at the same time. That's actually a pretty scary lineup.

Agreed, Dwight might have screwed things up, but I still think GSW came out good. Jerry made a hard run at Dwight, but still shed salary and added an all-star. He played his cards decently IMO

A small ball lineup of Curry/Klay/Iggy/Barnes/Lee should be fun to see, especially since Iggy can play a little point-forward

Iggy is going to do wonders for that team. And West dumped their dead weight. Good backup plan by the Logo.
