interesting stat about Lebron

interesting stat about Lebron

Postby JSM on Sat Jan 03, 2004 8:19 pm

This was in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and I thought I would share it with yall. It was a chart about Lebron and what he's done this year compared to what some of the other rookies out of high school did in their first season.

Lebron has score 625 points in 31 games, his current average is 20.2 ppg
Kobe-scored 539 points in 71 games, and averaged 7.6 ppg
    T-Mac-scored 451 points in 64 games, and averaged 7 points a game
    Jermaine O' Neal-scored 185 points in 45 games, and averaged 4.1 ppg

This kid darn is good. He has outscored Kobe by almost 100 points in less than half the amount of games. Now we will never know what Kobe, T-Mac, or O' Neal could have done if they were they main person on their team in their 1st year, started, or were given the amount of playing time Lebron is getting...but what this shows is Lebron is for real. And will be a great player in the years to come.

His numbers are phenominal, I don't know if words can honestly describe how good he is at 18. I love the kid and am looking foward to MANY years of excitment from him.

yes, Bron is a totally gifted player...not only is he scoring and living up to the hype that everyone created for him, but hes also doing everything else and making it satisfying and enjoyable to watch...his passes are one of the best for his position, and he knows how to get triple doubles. His jumper certainly needs improvement but two key factors seem to play into LeBron's role in adjusting to his new talented team, although the record doesn't say it. Paul Silas and Kevin Ollie. First of all, Paul because after all, he's their coach, and that's why Cleveland got him, he groomed Baron Davis and adjusted him to fierce playing of the league that got him to stardom, and now LeBron, only his rookie season, and he's already leading his team. He's also got more talented players to play around with compared to last year's...JR Bremer, Boozer (in his 2nd year now), Miles (should get more adjusted to Cleveland's style of play), Bremer, Newble, Ollie, and recently just Eric Williams and Tony Battie to groom James even more. Cleveland's gone haywire...they're getting more and more fans by the minute even if they're losing...LeBron just makes Cleveland's losses more easy to swallow.

And that's why I said this statement in my original message:

OMG. Lebron is playing 40 MINUTES A GAME.

Kobe played like 8 minutes a game in his rookie season and your comparing. Not even right.

Yeah, talk about over-hyping... Lebron's a great player, but that comparison doesn't mean anything. The rest of those guys only played in garbage time and got that many points.

Stupid "story" from the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.
