Jazz fan Ejected For Heckling Dwyane Wade

Postby Kobe8Fan on Tue Jan 15, 2013 2:15 am

Adi Joseph, USA TODAY Sports

Dwyane Wade has heard and seen it all in his 10 NBA seasons. That doesn't mean he'll put up with anything.

The Miami Heat guard was being heckled by notoriously harsh Utah Jazz fans during Monday's 104-97 loss. The result: A fan in a courtside seat was removed from the game by a security guard.

With the Heat down 20 in the third quarter, Wade points out a fan to security guards, who escort him out. The fan gets in a few indecipherable words to Wade before he goes.

Wade could have been frustrated from his off night. He finished with 11 points. Then again, the Heat turned things around after the fan was ejected, finishing the game on a 37-24 run from that point.

We're not sure if Wade asked for the fan to be removed or simply pointed out the troublemaker after someone else raised the red flag. Either way, courtside seats are expensive.

No, Jazz fans are over-the-top. They'll yell about the wife, kids, anyone and anything to get at the players. There's nothing off-limits to them, it's the ultimate in low-class and I think it's a regular occurrence for fans to get tossed as a result. I know I saw it happen when I went out there for a game.

1. Jazz fans are the worst. Literally the most awful bunch of fans in the NBA.
2. Since when can players do that?... Do players have that ability? To just point a guy and get him removed from the game? Especially in someone else's arena! Remember the people teasing Fisher about his daughter's eye? Why weren't they removed? They were doing some of the most disgusting displays of heckling I've ever seen and I don't remember them being escorted out.

i hate Jazz fans more than Wade :man10: :man10: . I think the dude must have deserved to be removed those fans are just absolutly disgusting heckling someone's sick daughter :disagree: . I'm pretty sure that dude said something that more than earned his right to get escorted out.

No doubt about it. I'm on Wade's side here.

I had no idea opposing team players could have anyone they want ejected, players have dealt with stuff most likely much worse in Utah for decades without doing so. That said the guy looked like a drunk a-hole, and was most likely being racist in some way, so I don't feel sorry for him.

Realdeal's post, pretty much

I didn't think the Jazz had any "off limits" things for their fans.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Interesting..... having been to a few games where Kevin Garnett played I can say that if it was words or phrases that warrant getting kicked out of an arena he should be off the floor by the 6 minute mark of the first quarter...... Why isn't it O.K. for the fans and O.K. for the players?..... isn't profanity and lack of respect a universal thing?

According to Wade, the fan got kicked out for saying something to ref Courtney Kirkland. Tune in as the story unfolds... :man11:

isn't saying something to wade and saying something to the refs essentially the same thing?

I work in the airport and came across a season ticket holder for the Jazz. To my absolute shock he was not a complete moron. LOL. He said of course he hates the Lakers and I reiterated to him my feelings towards his team. But above all he was very knowledgeable about basketball considering he is a Jazz fan. He was disgusted by the fans around him booing D-Fish back in 2007-08...but nice guy overall.
The Lakers are my drug of choice.
