As SBJ reports, Kevin Durant left agent Rob Pelinka for Jay-Z's Roc Nation. "He doesn't want a traditional NBA agent anymore," source says.

On Durant move to Roc Nation, source says: "KD wants Jay Z to handle his branding. He had a chance to be with his idol and couldn't say no."

Huge pull for them, it will be interesting to see who follows.

Illuminati!
J/K, just imagining what people on youtube would say..
"The first time I ever saw my uniform hanging in the locker I put it on right away, and it just felt like I was putting on golden armour. From that day forward, I just called it 'the golden armour', it just felt like there was something mystical and magical about it" - Kobe Bryant.

These guys are lining up to be with the Roc Tonight...... Lets see how it goes in the long run. Jay Z is a bizNess maaaaann.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

From a business perspective, Jay has done a wonderful job branding himself & sustaining longevity within a culture that breeds an overnight success & then an abrupt halt; that happens where the trends change so often and what once was the hot thing for the moment diminishes in the blink of an eye.

Jay has done a superb job in that regard; from his businesses, to his music, to his clothing line, to his 40/40 clubs, to his ownership with the Nets; he has done it all. Nevertheless, it has yet to been seen if he can translate this success & teach others how to keep themselves in the mainstream and create & take advantage of the best possible business opportunities for themselves. I'm anxious to see how this turns out for "Jigga."
