Kings are Scared!!!

Postby Zenmaster5 on Thu Jul 24, 2003 12:42 pm

Spurs only gave up ferry to the Pacers, who are believed to waive him because of his contract and it wont hurt them on the cap...The reason why this deal was able to go down was because of the Spurs and they're large cap space.

I will put money on this: Miller will not be an All Star in the west!!!! Shaq is goin to eat him up because if the Kings double him they are leaving Malone open or if they double from the 3 spot. It would be Miller and Doug Christie on Shaq. You know who will win that battle!!! HAHHAHA Malone and Payton bring so much to the Lakers!!!!! It would be hard for any team to double on the Lakers!!!

miller was only an all-star in the east becuase of his size

if the allstar were about the 12 best players from each conference, brad would never be an all star

Look up Miller's stats before you put money down on that bet. He was #3 in scoring for centers at 15 pppg playing only 30 min. He shoots 81% from the line and and has imporved his stats every season since he entered the NBA as a late season walk on for Charlote. Is he a top 5 center in the NBA? maybe, maybe not but definatly top 10. Is he more likely to than Yao or Shaq to get votes for all star, no but I'd say the best two defender of the fat man are Vlade and MIller. Now the Kings have them both. MIller has a lot more going for him than size, look at his stats or better yet watch him play.

i said nothing about his ability to play the 5... im saying in terms of individual players... Brad Miller would not be a top 12 player in the East... no way

he only makes the all star team because there is a lack of quality big men East of Texas

does Miller deserve to be an All Star? in the East at the 5 position, sure.... but 12 overall no way...

Well heck we could say the same thing about Yao Ming then. Given the ditrh of quality 5's in the NBA right now about the only one that would make a top 12 from either confrence is Shaq. If we were only lloking at top 12 palyers in each confrence we would have a serious compititon between gaurds and a couple of power forwards.

Heheh....brad miller a bust. brad miller is nothing in the west is what everyone though. If he were popular, he would make the all star team behind shaq. too bad its about popularity, not talent.
